This hotel is very good! Good environment and convenient transportation.
The service is absolutely amazing! Hot water, coffee and drinks are available 24 hours a day! I will stay in this hotel again next time! Highly recommended!

Great location for our needs. Parking was plentiful and free. Room was clean and big. Since it was a suite we had 1 br with 2 beds, a kitchen (no oven) with fridge, microwave, dishwasher, a coffee maker. It shares recreational space of putting green, archery and basketball court maybe the pool too with the holiday Inn in front of it but none of those were crowded. All employees we interacted with were so friendly! M-w the lobby hosts a little social hour with small bites and cocktails (wine and beer) Please tip them I hope next time we return we will have another good experience here. Nevis we will return.

Very happy with our stay at this Hotel.The rooms have been updated and one of the reasons we picked this hotel was the full kitchen.The beds were comfortable,and good water pressure in shower.The Staff was very friendly and plenty of free parking.A huge plus was the location.So much nearby and easy access to San Diego if need be

Great hotel for the tournament at the SoCal Sports Complex. The suites have full kitchens and breakfast is included. Parking is free (the lot could use a repaint), internet is super fast, the pool area is big and clean. We will be back next time the tournament is here. I would recommend!

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight. I had previously stayed at their other chain, Holiday Inn, located just behind this property. Both hotels share a restaurant and some amenities. If you’re planning a trip to San Diego, I highly recommend this place, especially for longer stays. The room was impeccably maintained, including the kitchen, sink, bathroom, bed, and the room itself—one of the best in its class. The stay included free parking and an amazing free breakfast. The facility offers numerous amenities for guests, such as a bonfire, heated pools, canopy-covered chairs for relaxation, and a 24/7 fitness center. Best part of all very nice and friendly staff. I did not have to click any photos since the ones in the reviews added previously are accurate. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for three nights in early-mid December. Our room was very clean and quiet. We stayed on the first floor in one of the mobility accessible rooms due to recent knee surgery. The beds and pillows were super comfy. The location is fine if you like it quiet and peaceful. We were not very near the beach, but not too far either. Short drive to the beach, Legoland, and The Premium Outlet Mall. We were most impressed with the pool and hot tub, and with the employees. I’ve never been to a place where you could swim or soak in outdoor pool in mid-December! But we did and it felt amazing! The pool area is beautifully landscaped and very clean. Since it was near Christmas, they had a gift wrapping station, where you could wrap your own gifts for free. The employees there were all helpful and polite. Hope we get to stay again. At the same time of year, so peaceful!

Had an extended stay at the hotel during our road trip through CA. The hotel was excellent, rooms very clean, bed and pillows so comfortable, amenities in the room very good. The housekeeping service was amazing as were the staff. All staff were so friendly courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Each morning a good choice of warm breakfast with the lovely staff greeting us and asking if we needed anything. Also the evening social events were great with excellent food and drinks, again great staff. I would recommend this hotel as not only do they provide great customer service but the hotel is situated to some many great places and beaches to visit. Thank you Carlsbad Staybridge team

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Please do not book here. It will just cause you a MAJOR headache. I wanted to stay here two nights with my family to visit my sister. I had a medical issue come up with my pregnancy and tried to cancel my reservation. The hotel did not care in the least, they were very rude and said the best that they could do was refund me one of the two nights I booked. So keeping $425 from me for not even staying there. That's a lot of money for my family so I decided to push through and make the trip. I told them we would just keep the reservation and not to cancel it. Then I woke up early this morning- the day before we are set to leave and got an email that my reservation was CANCELLED. And they would be charging me $425. Now I can no longer see my sister this weekend and I am out $425. What an awful establishment. My sister just moved to the area and we had many plans to meet up with her in the future but we will NEVER be booking with this hotel ever again. I urge you to avoid it as well. Give your money to a company that cares about their guests.

Loud workers yelling down the hall, kids yelling at all hours, yet our 30 pound dog was quiet through it. He finally barked today at noon at a worker talking very loudly in the hall. So two barks gets a call from the hotel manager to my husband's cell phone despite me being in the room sitting with my dog. No we didn't leave the dog unattended (we never do) and no he wasn't under distress, just sick of this extremely noisy place. I felt like yelling myself. Apparently kids crying and yelling from rooms is acceptable at all hours but two barks at noon warrants a cell phone call. Apparently loud workers who have no regard for people who might be resting in rooms. We didn't have a dog tag on the door because no one gave us one upon check-in. Our dog has been reviewed by AIRBNB hosts as being so well behaved. No mash potato bar or water down free drink will make up for a noisy hotel. Room doesn't have openable windows to get some outside noise to drown it all out.
