Big Sur-Style Lodge in Carmel - Panoramic Views! Hot-Tub, Game Room/Pool & Dogs

We could not imagine a better set up than what we experienced at the Big- Sur lodge just North of Carmel by the sea. The views were incredible and the decor inside reflects that beauty too..in design and in detail. Very comfortable beds and two rooms had bathrooms attached and the third bedroom had a bathroom very near .Also two great gathering areas and fully stocked kitchen. My son had some work he had to attend to and the WiFi was great too. Callie is a great communicator .This was our family's first time to Carmel and we hope to return .

My gosh! The house is gorgeous. We needed a large house that could accommodate several family members flying in to attend a wedding. The house was just as advertised. Callie was great to work with. Everything was perfect.

I booked the main house for our 40th anniversary for 8 guests. We stayed 4 nights and cooked in twice for dinner. The kitchen is well equipped with all we needed for meal preparations. We brought 3 cars and had plenty of space for parking. We enjoyed game play with Mexican train, Trouble, and Yahtzee and discovered Mexican train is provided. We arrived to relaxing music and a gas fireplace. Daytrips to Salinas, Carmel Beach, and Point Lobos were easy and enjoyable. Great location and everything we needed was at hand

Incredible views and hospitality Check in was a smooth process with the host giving a quick guided tour of the property. Stunning views from the front bed room and wrap around patio. Grill on property was a bonus, plus the well stocked kitchen made our stay-in meals a breeze. Easy checkout process as well. Would stay here again in the future!

We had a fantastic weekend at this home, it was a great spot for our group of friends to celebrate a bachelorette weekend. The photos really don't do the view any justice and the host was absolutely lovely. Callie recommended a hike that wasn't crowded at all and was a great way to start one of our mornings. The only issue we had was that the pull out couch mattress was quite lacking so one of us ended up making a makeshift bed out of couch cushions on the floor. The beds in the bedrooms were quite comfortable and the house easily sleeps 6 comfortably but if you're planning on having more people join you, we'd recommend bringing an air mattress for the loft space.
