There is a large community trash can outside the window of the room on the first floor. There is also a pungent smell in the room. After communicating with the front desk, the room was changed. Why do you have to give the customer the worst arrangement first when there are other room options? Without any other interpretation, I hope I am just unlucky.

The town of Carmel is beautiful, the hotel is clean and tidy, especially the fireplace room is very special. There is a big temperature difference at night, so the room with the fireplace is very comfortable.

The staff was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese. The location is perfect with shops, restaurants and the beach all within walking distance.

The best The inn is so charming and comfortable. It is right near everything in Carmel. Parking was included, as was an abundance of food. They served appetizers and wine on check in, then had soft drinks, coffee, and water available to guests in the lobby all day, put cookies out in the evening and served a full delicious breakfast. The best part though is the customer service. The two ladies at the front desk were so helpful, kind, and friendly. Everyone I encountered who worked at the inn was very welcoming. I will definitely stay again next time I go to Carmel.
