Reviews of La Playa Hotel

First off I was told like I was gonna get a garden view room. It was a room looking at the street. We paid over $600 for this room. I know it’s a nice hotel but don’t tell me a garden view and look in the street at the same thing. This I wanna make perfectly clear they charge me $200 for amenities that I thought were free and no one told us as we checked into the hotel that this is a charge for all the minutes whether we use them or not Free glass of wine, not chocolate chip cookies, not fruit not breakfast not Shuttle van not I’ve been going to hotels and traveling for a long time never ever did I see something like this before.

The room was tiny, and there was an overwhelmingly pungent, old smell that made it difficult to fall asleep! I specifically booked a sea-view room, but all I could see was the rooftop! For the price, it was really not worth it!

An unexpected hotel, every corner is a view, small and exquisite. The service is very good, the breakfast is great, the room is small but comfortable. The location is very good, 5 minutes to go out for dinner and shopping.

Carmel is a typical American wealthy town. The hotel fully interprets the old money style, revealing a low-key and luxurious taste everywhere! Located in Carmel Town near the sea, there are a few free parking spaces (take your chances). The room is very small, and you can't even open the suitcase, but the bedding and toiletries are very good. The hotel's breakfast is very good, and the bar is also very good. In the evening, the hotel lobby will distribute self-baked cookies. The staff is friendly and smiling, which is commendable.

The design of the hotel is very good. I like the retro American style very much. The breakfast is also very surprising. I will stay here again.
