The Savannah Inn

When I go to the beach I don't want any frills and this place is no frills but is awesome! It's exactly what I wanted. The owner is amazing and the place is way cute! It's not too big and not over crowded. It's right on the beach and is just perfect for me! I WILL BE BACK!!!!

Took a Chance and was lucky enough to get a room for this weekend. We arrived on Saturday, and the room was ready before the 3 pm check in. Smaller size and a little out dated, but it was clean and had everything you need. The pool was Right outside of our deck, it was clean and not too busy. It was closed at 9 pm so there was no noise at night. The Inn is right on the beach with a private entrance to the beach. They even have a little Tiki Hut Dry bar on a raised deck with corn hole if you wanted to have a group up there. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place, and plan to go back. Shops and restaurants, and the Boardwalk were all within walking distance.

5th summer in a row here (which we found on TripAdvisor). Family-owned charming hotel that the owner continues to improve. 2nd floor has balconies with an ocean view. Easy beach access and nice outside shower. Lots of room on the beach and quiet. Basically the opposite of Myrtle Beach! Short walk to the boardwalk. Great value! Can't wait to return!

You get what you pay for, very nice and friendly staff, wonderful beach and pool access. Rooms, especially bathroom, could use some updates. But then the price would probably increase tremendously. Still enjoyed our vacation l.

We stayed in an ocean front king room on the 2nd floor. Nothing fancy about this hotel but loved our stay here. Our room had knotted pine walls and was so charming. It was so nice not having to hear doors slam in a hallway all night and the halls weren't so thin that we heard our neighbors all night. Very small inn with only 22 rooms so service was very personal and friendly! Hotel is 2 stories tall so while you don't a sweeping view of the sandy beach you get a view of the ocean if you are on the 2nd story. One morning we saw dolphins out in the water so that was a great treat!! We were near the boardwalk yet far enough away that it was quiet! Truly love the treasure of Carolina Beach!! Will be going back again and again!! They do not have an machine...they are a small hotel! They have mini fridge in room so we just bought a bag of ice and filled our cooler and put rest in freezer of our mini fridge. I know they also offer efficiency apartments.

We were on our way to Myrtle Beach stopped for a night in Carolina Beach. We found the Savannah Inn met the owner and decided to cut our Myrtle Beach visit short and spent 2 wonderful nights here. Susan and her staff are all so personable, helpful and sweet. The Inn has a beautiful charm so quaint and very clean. Has beautiful views of the ocean and its location was perfect for our long weekend getaway. We will definitely return as we found a diamond in the rough that offers a quiet and romantic getaway for us.
