Best Spa Hotel in Carrara

Per motivi di lavoro ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare in questa bellissima villa Belverde a Carrara, dove tutto, fin nei minimi dettagli, è perfetto! La gentile, sempre disponibile ed ospitale Sig.ra Margherita ha fatto del suo meglio per rendere perfetto il mio soggiorno nella villa e nel mio suite, la ringrazio e continuerò a visitare la Villa ogni volta che sarò a Carrara. Pulito, ordinato, gradevole, comodo grande letto a baldacchino, bagno completo in marmo Calacatta, posto silenzioso, nonostante vicino strada principale, non si sente nessun rumore, enormi finestre con vista sul bellissimo parco secolare, ottima colazione fresca, servita in camera su mia richiesta, cibo fresco e gustoso, la suite profuma di freschezza e di agrumi, tutto è impeccabile e sono felice di consigliare questa Villa a tutti coloro che vogliono godersi il lusso e le opere d'arte di cui è piena questa Villa, e tutto ciò nel prezzo del pernottamento e colazione, che è molto modesto e accettabile . The hotel has been totally renovated recently to an outstanding level. The room was ultra-comfortable and perfectly appointed – the most user-friendly room we have encountered. The décor of the room, and the marble bathroom, are worthy of featuring in Vogue. We had a great view from our small balcony looking towards the mountains one way and the sea the other. Windows are openable to get cross-breezes, but the air conditioning also works well. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet area adjacent to the interesting historic centre of Carrara. The very welcoming and helpful staff recommended possible restaurants and booked for us at the one we chose that featured typical local gourmet dishes and excellent wines. They also provided great information about sightseeing and tours to the famous Carrara quarries (from which Michelangelo sourced his special white marble). The breakfast room on the roof (5th floor with large outdoor area) gives a great view of the city and surrounds, with an excellent breakfast. The combination of the wonderful staff and the high standard of the room, common guest spaces and location made us wish we were staying longer in Carrara.

We spent a night in this B&B in August 2023, large rooms well furnished and very clean, excellent and varied breakfast, friendly and available owners, excellent internal parking, very nice also the interior garden. Great discovery and good support for visiting the area. We will surely return.
