Absolutely fantastic. This is a quiet small resort with maybe 14 rooms. 1.5 hours from Cartagena City. A bit of a harrowing drive, but definitely worth the trip. Once you get in through the doors, it’s beautiful & peaceful. Balinese type style. Not a five-star resort but they do a really nice job. Very well staffed so you have somebody to help you if you need anything. Very quiet. No telephones, no tv’s in room. Rooms are spacious, private, very comfortable. Two small beaches on either side of the main area. All open-air reception, Restaurant. One restaurant iwth 2 levels. Food was actually terrific. Best food we had in Colombia. We were there for three nights and absolutely loved it. lots of daytrippers, people coming in from Cartagena on boat to spend the day at the resort. Was nice. Will definitely come back. Thank you to Lordy who took such nice care of our family. Special place.

Excellent stay. The room was very good with everything you need for a good stay. From the room on the second floor there is an incredible view of the sea. The beach is small but perfect to rest and take the kids. There are activities for them. The food is excellent and the service exceptional. The staff is very attentive. I had an event at night near the hotel and they gave me the phone number of the person in charge to open the door at 3 in the morning when I arrived. Truly an excellent stay.

To be fair the staff was nice, and the food was also good; but we are happy we finally left this place. We stayed there 3 nights, we have been traveling the past three weeks in Colombia and this was the worst place where we’ve stayed. There isn’t a beach, there is a small open mangrove and that’s what they called the “beach” but is full of algae and mangroves trees. We then took a tour which is offered by the hotel to Playa Azul- super sketchy place with more locals trying to get something from you than an actual beach, and full of plastic garbage. This was our last part of the trip where we were supposed to relax, and we could not sleep! It is loud the whole time! The islands and boats a few meters away are blasting music constantly and during the night as well. We had a lot of gasoline smell coming our way. We don’t recommend this place or this destination.

Amazing stay! Private beaches, amazing food and incredible service! I did not want to leave, I wish I would have stayed an extra night. Very private, so great for couples. If you can, I recommend a two night stay

Great place! Very seclusive, quiet and private. The staff is great and very helpful. You feel like you are staying at a high class resort. The grounds and beach are well kept. The food was wonderful. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone!

My family and I spent a wonderful afternoon having lunch at Aura. Lots of great options on the menu and we enjoyed everything we had. The quality was of a high standard and good value. The service was faultless and we felt very welcome and relaxed. The Manager offered my daughter some cake as there was a birthday celebration at the next table which was a lovely gesture. The hotel was a tranquil and relaxing space. I’m grateful to the team at Aura for making an unforgettable experience in our memories forever.

It is a nice place to relax, there is no TV. Only one menu option and nothing really nearby to have a bit so the hotel's menu is basically your only choice. Prices are high in my opinion, the food is good. Staff friendly, although not like in other destinations we have been to, particularly in Mexico. The little beach of the hotel is very nice. I would not recommend anyone to stay more than 3 days, at least I wouldn't normally do that.
