We visited Aguadas with our family and had the most amazing experience at Hotel Entre Brumas. The hotel was very charming and clean, and the hospitality from the staff was perfect! Excellent location with a great breakfast and the staff gave us a fun city tour! This was the most perfect hotel in Aguadas, and we will definitely come back next time in town. Thank you!

Clean, quiet place. No deadbolt or lock from inside so I didn't feel very safe. No amenities like refrigerator, coffee maker or air conditioning. The weather was comfortable though.

Great hotel to stay at with friendly staff. Room was huge, clean and comfortable. It's quite despite it's location along the freeway. Very good breakfast with options, on-site free and gated parking.

If you stay here, be sure to ask for one of the rooms to the right of the parking lot, NOT upstairs. Our first night was upstairs and miserable; the road noise is loud and continuous, you can hear everything that happens in reception, and the walls are paper thin to the point that I could hear the people in the room next to us using the toilet. We told them we weren't going to be able to stay the second night and the very helpful staff showed us one of the rooms farther from the road and it was like a completely different and we had zero issues.
Breakfast was delicious, the staff was wonderful, rooms were clean...just avoid the upstairs room like the plague.

Spontaneously we decided to stay here. The service is really top. Very nice and friendly staff. Our room was spacious enough for 4 adults and the view is really amazing. It’s located close to the volcano. So stay a night before and start early to the volcano.

Cartago has very limited hotel options but Hotel Las Brumas was a great little place to base. They have 16 brand new rooms which we didn’t get but are much larger. I’d recommend asking for them. The breakfast was great next door at Mi Tierra which is also a great place to eat dinner. There are some fantastic restaurants close by that I’d recommend as well. Woods Pizza is absolutely amazing. The vibe is strong and the pizza is very good. Mama Lila is an Argentinian steakhouse in a 100 year old house and I’d argue would be at home in any world class city. Cannot say enough about this place and their team. Gubser Ticino is a really solid family run Italian style place with fresh pasta. The chef is from the very southern tip of Switzerland but has a great sense of Italian food.
