I've stayed here before and been satisfied with the stay. Unfortunately, this visit was under par. The overflow drain on the tub was pushed in and not connected, leaving a hole, and there as a missing hook, dirty hair dryer, and the room felt worn and tired. It was disappointing since the hotel is advertised as newly remodeled. When we were checking in, there was some confusion on when to get a shuttle to the airport the next morning and we almost missed our flight the next morning. Also, upon checking in there was a man and two women who came in, saying they were staying at the Country Inn and Suites and asked to swim in the pool. The Hampton Inn must have told them no as it is between the two hotels. It was a bit uncomfortable as the girls were dressed in shirts promoting getting stoned and no pants. As a female traveling with my mother, I choose hotels based on how secure the location is. I pay the extra costs to stay in reputable places that are in good condition. I won't be paying to stay here again since the price was over $200 and the amenities are open to anyone who walks through the door at no charge to them, and the condition of the room was not worth the expense. I should point out that the morning staff and shuttle driver were friendly and helpful. They are the reason I gave a better overall rating.
