Lovely hotel, but not a full on 5-star hotel in my opinion. I enjoyed my stay here, but there were a few things that prevented me from giving 5 stars. Pros- Beautiful lobby, lovely seating areas for tea or cocktails; Beautiful pool with adequate seating. This was probably my favourite area of the hotel, was very pretty; Great location near to prime shopping and restaurants/coffee; Rooms were very spacious, very comfortable bed but quite soft, good amount of storage in room; In room tea and coffee; Nice bathroom, good quality Clarins toiletries; Spa was very good - both hammam and spa worth it; Breakfast had great variety; On site restaurant was very good; Restaurant staff were very nice. Cons- Rooms are a bit dated, could maybe use a refresh on the furniture; Hallways quite dim and dreary; Service at front desk was ok, no one was very eager. We were told to help ourselves to drink and cookies on arrival, which was fine, but some seating on arrival would have been nice; No dedicated concierge; Breakfast had variety but when they ran out of fruit or yogurt they were very slow to restock, if they restocked at all. Multiple mornings they ran out of yogurt, eggs etc. and did not replenish while we were eating; No poolside service, if you wanted anything you had to go to restaurant to order; Pool area was beautiful with many loungers, but the umbrellas were stored away and not many staff around to ask for an umbrella. We really did enjoy our stay here, but those are just my honest thoughts. For the price I would have expected a bit more service, compared to other similarly priced hotels I’ve stayed at around the world. I was debating between this and the Four Seasons, and if I came back to Casablanca I’d probably stay at the Four Seasons. I would recommend this hotel though, as it was lovely and in a great location.
