Don’t stay here. When you arrive you get presented with a list of things you have to pay for - including the swimming pool (£20 a day!!!), air conditioning (£10 a day!!!) and even the fridge! After waking up at 5am, having a long journey to get to the hotel including walking up a long, steep hill with no pavement, that was not the best way to be greeted. Rooms looked out onto a wall on one side or a big ugly derelict hotel on the other. Breakfast staff were rude, asking us to leave at 9.30 even though it was meant to continue till 10am. The croissants were the hotels only saving grace.

He is a very nice and funny person and i really want to have another interaction with him. He was very social with our friens group and i really like him. And he even gave my friends free beers wich i really appreciate. The hotel was very nice and clean also and they even cleaned it when we were gone.

My family & I were already in Italy for a summer holiday based near/around Formia/Gaeta/Cassino, but had planned to visit Pompeii & Sorrento. We had stayed in Castellamare di Stabia a few years before, so we half knew the area. By chance, we came across the Europa Stabia Hotel and we're so glad we did. It's in an excellent location where we were only a 10min drive from Pompeii and a 25min train ride to Sorrento. The hotel is immaculate and is well maintained with secure parking (at a cost). If you're not familiar of the area, parking can be a bit hit and miss, plus the roads are a bit on the narrow side. The rooms were very clean and well kept had we a garden facing view which included a balcony. The grounds and the swimming pool areas are very well kept and it's well away from the main town traffic, so very idyllic. However, the best thing above all were the staff - Simona, Francesca, Mario, Michele, Rosario and owner Francesco. They couldn't make our stay more welcoming and were so helpful, no matter what time of the day it was. It made that small getaway even more enjoyable and memorable. If only more hotels had this kind of hospitality! We hope to stay with them again some day. Complimenti Francesco!!

Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel for 10 days, it was a beautiful hotel with beautiful and well kept gardens, the owner and his family/staff were all lovely , friendly and very helpful, every day the owner went out of his way to come and talk to you to see everything was ok , I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay again

I am recently home from a 5 night stay and can not praise Francesco, Mario and all the staff at the Europa Stabia hotel enough. They went above and beyond their duty to ensure that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their hotel. They recommended places to explore, the best way to get there, restaurants etc. The grounds are stunning and the hotel is spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back again next year. Thank you Europa Hotel for such an enjoyable stay in Castellammare. Michelle

Such a lovely hotel. The customer service is excellent and it really made our stay. In terms of location, we had it as a base and travelled by train to nearby towns. The shuttle bus was a life saver in the heat bringing us back and forward to the train station.

awful , don't book unless you happy with two star. Twenty pounds togo near pool. twenty pounds to park car, don't let you take water or juice inta room , air conditioning doesn't work, they switch it off, crack up if you bring take away pizza to room .

This hotel was absolutely amazing from start to finish! They treated us like family, always making sure we were safe and knew where we were going, Mario the guy on reception was so good with recommendations on where to go, Rosario the man that owns the hotel was incredibly nice and treated us like his own. Simona and Francesca were also incredibly nice! The breakfast staff Umberto, Maria Rosaria and Salvatore were so so so helpful at breakfast and very funny in the morning with us. Even the cleaning lady Anna was so nice and cleaned are room so nicely! This hotel honestly made are stay in Castellammare, . If you are staying or thinking about travelling to Castellammare in my opinion you should always choose Europa Stabia hotel.

My wife and I have just returned from Italy . We stayed at this lovely hotel . The hotel is situated in well kept gardens with a nice pool . The hotel is managed by a gentleman called Donnarumma Francesco D’assisi who we found to be a wonderful person and treats all patrons as if they were family. Which is quite apt as he has a few on his staff ,all of who are excellent at their profession. We cannot praise the staff highly enough . Umberto and his staff in the restaurant,excellent. On reception Mario , Simona and Francesca they were absolutely magnificent with information and organising trips anything from boats, buses, trains and restaurants . Raffaele on the bar who looked after us . Sylvia our maid was so pleasant. A beautiful country, a wonderful holiday made all the better by all the amazing staff . Thank you all. By the way there is a slight hill into town.
