第一次遇到這麼噁心的酒店，第一天服務員給我們説了迷你吧免費，第二天退房的時候酒店不承認了，要全部付錢，説叫昨天那個帶我們去服務員來詢問，酒店也不叫，而且最惡劣的是本來問了酒店要開兩間什麼樣的房型才能住一起，酒店説要開一間套房和一間豪華房就可以住一起，結果到了酒店又説豪華房在另一棟樓，想要住一起就衹有套房和高級房才能住一起，結果我們一家人為了住一棟樓，衹有被迫把豪華房（貴）換成了一般的高級房，酒店沒有一分補償，真的是最沒誠信的酒店

The best hotel I've ever used, and I'm comparing it with some of the best hotels around the world, including hotels in London (Claridges, The Savoy, The Cadogan and others) and top class hotels in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, Helsinki, Madrid, Paris, New York and Vienna; I could go on, but I'm in danger of inflicting embarrassment. It was pretty and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful beyond words, from the manager and reception staff through to the parking valet. The food and drink was excellent; my lobster was particularly good, and my views are shared by my fellow guests/family. I write reviews extremely rarely, and this is very much an exception (if not unique) but, circumstances permitting, I'll be back.

Superb, worth every penny, Amazing location, fabulous views, wonderful room (junior suite), delightful staff, comfortable bed, excellent pool and other facilities and top class restaurant. The menu degustation with a bottle of Edonist wine was simply divine. Without a doubt one of the loveliest hotels I have stayed at in my nearly 60 years on this planet. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Le Vieux Castillon, my wife and I enjoyed every minute at your hotel: thank you for such a lovely time.

Beautiful hotel for a very relaxing break. Room was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Staff very friendly and helpful. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and we were disappointed. Food was good but portions were so small. Wine was very good. We left the restaurant still hungry and we do not have large appetites Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This property is stunningly beautiful. We stayed in two rooms, one was perfect, the other room did have some mildew odors. The food is exquisite, the staff are friendly and professional. I even witnessed one woman working the desk keep her calm and professional demeanor with a pair of very upset German lawyers (they had made a mistake when booking, and were trying to blame the hotel). Our only other complaint was that the pool was experiencing a leak during our stay and was not usable. These things happen. Also note: there are very few other places to eat in this village.

We booked the Terrace Suite and were downgraded due to overbooking. The hotel did not really apologize and did not seem to care. Access to the hotel is poor. The pool offers little shade and is not suitable for children. There are better hotels in the area than this one.

The property is nice as are the rooms, as befits the price of some EUR 450 a night, but this is spoiled completely by the breakfast experience. On entering we saw 3 young women nattering to each other behind a counter. One came forward anxious for our room number to add to her list. We weren’t shown to a table but found our own, though on inspection this turned out to be quite dirty with crumbs aplenty from the previous user. One of the young women came across to inform us of the direction for the buffet. This is 100% buffet. They don’t even offer to make you tea or coffee here and you are left to try and find your way around a very un-user ready drinks machine. No hot water available for my tea (machine not working properly) and the teabags were unrecognisable as anything approaching English breakfast tea. Returning to the grubby table with a bit of baguette and cheese I found a bill for signature - for an eye watering EUR 54!!!!! For a buffet breakfast on a grubby table with staff totally uninterested in the guests other than giving them a bill! Dreadful experience. Not recommended at all.

We stayed for four nights in a Terrace Suite. The hotel main entrance is 50m up a very narrow street which looks difficult for motorists but in fact is usable. Check in was marred by the receptionist advising us that we would have to change rooms on our last night because of an overbooking problem. We told her firmly that was not going to happen and didn’t hear about it again. Our room was glorious; soft colors, large and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom, all well appointed and with the usual amenities. During our stay the daytime temperature was around 30C, but the air conditioning was more than sufficient.The terrace was also well sized with a table and chairs for two, two sun beds and an umbrella for shade. The pool area looked inviting but we preferred our solitude. One idiosyncrasy; housekeeping is in the afternoons, which means that twice after a morning touring and then lunch we came back to find the room not yet serviced. Breakfast was a high quality buffet with lots of choice and local products, but nothing cooked to order. Perhaps a little expensive at €27. In summary it is a high class hotel in a beautiful village well located for Nimes and Avignon. We would highly recommend.

Messed up booking due to hotel and ******* relationship, Lousy room, not what reserved, though moved for second night. While front desk try to be helpful, manager was unpleasant. I selected and booked the hotel for a group of friends. Among 6 different hotels in our Europe travels this one was the only one that kept messing up. Broken safe, broken phone. mediocre room, bungled in house restaurant reservation.

Une très belle maison dans les bâtiments historique de ce petit village provençale. La suite terrasse est magnifique, même si elle se mérite, étant la plus haute chambre de l'établissement ! l'accueil était parfait, encore un grand merci au voiturier qui s'est occupé avec une extrême gentillesse de la voiture et des bagages, à l'arrivée comme au départ. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir

Une parenthèse enchantée le temps d’un week end. A 5min du Pont du Gard, 20 min d’Uzes, caché dans un petit village médiéval, le Vieux Castillon est un havre de paix. Calme, luxe et volupté. Service à la hauteur, une chambre (suite) magnifique avec terrasse privée sur les toits du village. Un spa Clarins avec une grande qualité de soins ( manque un espace piscine hamman jacuzzi plus important). Restaurant gastro non testé ( fermé le dimanche, autre restaurant étoilé à 5 min) mais petit déjeuner parfait, buffet complet, produits maison, frais , locaux. Clou du spectacle: la piscine, magnifiquement intégrée dans la pierre , une vue, une lumière naturelle exceptionnelle. Une équipe jeune, aux petits soins mais non intrusif. Merci pour cette magnifique expérience.

Cela fait maintenant 10 ans que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel merveilleux plein de charme et très confortable! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe de l’hébergement en commençant par Momo Roméo et aussi à Haim et toutes les personnes formidables de l’accueil . De plus une mention spéciale pour toutes les femmes de ménage a l’écoute de vos besoins!.en revanche il y des progrès a faire au niveau de la restauration et surtout du service! Ce qui est désolant et peu compréhensible. Piscine superbe une vue à couper le souffle. Il ne manque pas grand chose pour que ce lieu devienne un paradis

Très bel établissement, intime et accueillant , que des vieilles pierres, décoré avec goût. Attention le resto étoilé est fermé dimanche et lundi meme en saison
