This place is truly fantastic. After signing out of a dreadful hotel nearby (The French Partridge) this place was truly fantastic. It epitomised real service which is a credit to the hotel. It has amazing grounds and views and I hope you visit this place of a gem. It is pricey but it is true silver spoon value.

We have been to The Falcon quite a few times as we live locally, generally just for drinks as the patio in the summer is glorious. We love the environment, it’s very chilled and opulent. It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for, it’s a lovely place to spend an afternoon. However, I draw the line at putting a service charge on drinks. Even if you go to the bar and get them yourself, they still charge a 10% service charge!

We had a magnificent stay... the rooms were wondrous and we also sampled the open water swimming, gorgeous restaurants and gong bath. It was all delightful and Nick and the team made us feel very special. Thank you. .. Michele, Andy and Leo..

Great Hotel, staff were wonderful, food was just amazing. We stayed overnight, had a beautiful lunch and had a superb breakfast a 6 course taster which was so original and tasty, lovely location and well worth a visit, will definatly return.

Outstanding hotel - fabulous rooms, staff, food and drink. We had dinner at Eyas which was terrific. Rooms were lovely, staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. Castle Ashby is a lovely village - worth exploring. Would highly recommend - we will be back !

I booked this hotel as I needed charging my EV overnight and I found a great hotel in limestone set in Northampton village. I had been here over 20 years ago when it was a darker shade of itself.. I read previous reviews and couldn’t see all the issues. I had friendly helpful knowledge staff. A great relaxing building, comfy bedroom. It wasn’t large but I had booked small as on my own. Plenty of space out of the room wood fires and snug rooms and good WiFi great if you still have to work.. A nice feature was a great individual healthy breakfast lovingly presented as well. Lastly the EV charging was plentiful for overnight full charge and they all seemed working a plus for the EV motorist.

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated throughout. Lovely food. We really enjoyed our stay at the Falcon Hotel.
We also enjoyed visiting Csatle Ashby gardens the following day.

What a wonderful find, I booked a night with my daughter, the room was fabulous with lovely beds, tastefully furnished room, big showers and deep freestanding bath. The staff were so professional, nothing was too much trouble! We were given cookies straight from the oven with a nespresso machine in the room we enjoyed a coffee with them. We had an excellent massage followed by a Gong bath which was so relaxing we fell asleep, then supper in a beautifully decorated room, the food was lovely as was the sparkling non alcoholic wine. After a wonderful night sleep followed by yoga with an excellent teacher and a lovely breakfast we departed from our mini retreat. I had no idea it would be so holistic, I left feeling fabulous rested and refreshed. I have stayed in luxury hotels that do not deliver this level of service or relaxation. I will be returning soon. Thanks you to all the wonderful staff at the Falcon. Lastly I told the staff how much we loved the cookies on departure I was handed a gift of cookies to take, now that’s what I call service.

I have stayed and eaten here numerous times with the hope of it being better each time I come. Sadly although the decor and promise of an amazing experience is outlined at the front door as soon as you walk in you are either greeted or not greeted. The staff are in the main not experienced and not capable of delivering the service you will be expecting for the price you are paying. I was met with an inexperienced member of staff who couldn’t qualify our reservation, order our drinks, deliver them to us and then on top of that when our friends arrived and I asked for their drinks to be delivered to our table it was met with a snarl from more experienced members of staff. Given that this was not a full restaurant I was confused why we should be such an inconvenience. Without prolonging the agony - my Sunday dinner in the restaurant was pleasant but I couldn’t eat my sirloin as it was inedible and chewy and my pudding was citrus jelly with a good dousing of olive oil?! Not for me or my fellow diners. Please please listen to your reviews The Falcon you are a superb venue but need tweeks to make you perfect - I will continue to support such an amazing location but not everyone will.
