Après avoir fait 600 km en voiture , je m'attendais à un accueil un minimum professionnel . Certes il y avait du monde, il y avait 2 femmes à l'accueil mais seulement une travaillais ( si on peut appeler ça travailler car elle ne faisait que papoter à sa collègue qui devait être payer pour faire de la figuration ). Après 20 minutes d'attentes nous avons été pris en charge de manière très froide comme si nous n'étions pas les bienvenus. Après avoir monté les étages avec nos valises le code de la porte d'entrée de la chambre ne fonctionnais pas, mon père décide alors d'appeler l'accueil, ce à quoi elle répond qu'il fallait qu'il descendre ( pas très professionnel sachant que c'est une personne âgé comparé à l'une des secrétaires d'accueil assise derrière sa collègue en la regardant travailler ). Après être descendu moi meme nous nous rendons compte qu'il y a eu un problème de réservation, nous demandons donc si il y avait possibilité de réserver une autre chambre, ce à quoi les secrétaires nous répondent qu'il n'y a plus de place. Entre temps je regarde sur les sites de réservation ( Booking et tripadvisor ) qui eux me proposaient des chambres disponibles à cet hôtel, mais le comble dans tout cela c'est que moins de 2 minutes plus tard, 2 ( supposés ) connaissances de la secrétaire arrivent et demandent si il y a des chambres disponibles pour 2 ce à quoi le personnel de l'hôtel repondit avec un grand sourire qu'elle devrait pouvoir s'arranger pour leur trouver une chambre. Nous n'étions clairement pas les bienvenus. Heureusement que l'amabilité castraise ne se résume pas à ces deux personnages, nous avons trouvé très rapidement un autre hôtel où tous c'est très bien passé ( en plus moins cher ).

This is a perfectly situated hotel in the centre of Castres. The directions we were given, in advance, for parking were spot on, with the secure, covered car park being literally around the corner from the hotel. The owners and their team are very welcoming and friendly. Our room was on the second floor and the owner carried all our bags up for us! The room had a Medieval theme and was spacious and comfortable with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom had tub and shower and was spotlessly clean. Also had a make up/shaving mirror. The bar was very cosy with interesting decor and very comfy tub chairs. We enjoyed our drinks which were reasonably priced. The owners took the time to stop and chat to us which was nice. I understand dinner is also available although we did not eat in the hotel as we had already committed to dining elsewhere in Castres. Breakfast was very good with excellent coffee and a good choice of cereals, bread, boiled eggs, toast, cold meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit and juices. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. .

We spent 2 nights in double room. It was quite pleasant, the room was clean, comfortable litter. The environment was quiet despite a commercial location, the hotel is a little away. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
