Incredible views from our spacious rooms,separate lounge area, over a lovely beach. Cafes and restaurants everywhere an easy walk to city centre along a lovely promenade. Quality tapas close by. Parking out the front. A lovely town , we had 2 relaxing nights here

Easy to find in Castro U. Lovely beach just a short stroll. Garage Parking for bike. Ferry was a couple of hours late, so needed a beer!. Room large and Comfortable., two cool bottles of water. Nice salad and Rioja first night. Breakfast very good. Stayed two nights and found a couple of bars for drinks and food near the Marina. Would return.

We stopped here for two nights along our Camino journey. Wonderful staff, clean and comfortable room with an amazing view, nice bathtub, tasty and affordable breakfast buffet. We loved exploring Castro Urdiales! Two vegetarians in our group struggled to find much food without meat (this was a problem throughout the Camino del Norte). We ate a tremendous amount of French fries, which were thankfully delicious. Beautiful beach just a block from the hotel. Front desk fellow was quite a charmer and made us feel well cared for.

Great hotel fully deserving of four stars. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and well appointed. Great breakfast. Watch out for very generous measures of spirits!! Parking can be free if spaces found outside though it is 9 euro fro the hotel garage

We stayed here for one night on the Camino del Nortes Pluses Big room Hotel is well located Lift in hotel Restaurant menu looked good though we did not use it nor breakfast as we left early the next morning Tea and coffee in room Minuses None that come to mind

Very nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms and an accommodating staff. Our room with a sea view was quite spectacular. We chose the hotel as a quiet stopover on arriving from Bilbao airport and driving west. And it was just that.

Lovely hotel a stones throw to the sea. Rooms were comfortable and stylishly furnished with the added extra of a kettle. My only niggle was that we were in twin beds but as we were only there one night we didn’t make the effort to change the room

Great service! We received a great recommendation which places to visit in Cantabria (not included in very detailed tourist guide). Very convinient location close to the beach and nice promenade The room was clean and the bathroom also. As I decided to go for the lower cost option I received a smaller room, which was ok for a few nights.

The kitchen was a disaster. We chose the most expensive dish on the menu and almost left it—a ribeye steak of questionable quality, tough, tasteless… awful… It's a shame that such good facilities and staff have such a huge problem with such a basic and essential service…

Hotel de 4 estrellas, habitaciones bien, colchones muy comodos, aire acondicionado moderno, agua de cortesía en nevera y amenities en cuarto de baño y te puedes preparar una infusión o café en la habitación, al lado de la playa, buenas vistas, personal amable y muy atento, cuartos de baño con bañera para nuestra opinión necesitan reformarse, limpieza correcta. Tienen unas pocas plazas de cortesía delante del hotel, Garaje privado también, sitio para aparcar alrededor de pago OCA Castro Urdiales.

Superior kamer heel ruim en uitzicht op strand. Verder was alles wat het superior maakt gedateerd. Hele oude wekkerradio met cd speler met heel slecht geluid. Gordijnen sluiten niet helemaal. Oude staande lamp had allemaal vlekken. Geen vergrootspiegel in de badkamer. Ontvangst aan de balie was heel langzaam en omslachtig met papierwerk. Opmerking minibar is gratis beloofde wat, zaten er alleen 2 hele kleine flesjes water in van 330cl. Ontbijt viel tegen. Hoop uiterlijk vertoon met personeel in pak maar geen vriendelijk gezicht of service.
