We loved it. The hotel is a converted fortified house from the 13th century with extensive grounds that made for lovely walking in the Easter sun. Breakfast is plentiful and there’s a good choice of food, and endless supply of coffee. The bedrooms are clean, the beds comfy, and super-quiet. If that was all I knew about this place, it would be enough to recommend it. But it is not all I know. There’s more. What sets hotels apart is attentiveness to detail. And this hotel has that - all the little touches that made our stay so much nicer, they pushed the beds together since they knew we were a married couple, they opened up quiet areas for us to sit and enjoy a coffee. But there’s yet more. Staff are all friendly, competent and always there for you. Particular mention goes to the night staff, Ann-Christin and Erdal, who were somehow always able to find time for a nice chat with us despite having to manage several things at once. Go there. It’s fun.

Dear readers, as unsatisfactory guest, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. First of all, I must say that the central location of the hotel is positive. I also liked the impressive hall of red marble in the eastern style. My room on the 5th floor was pleasantly large and offered a good view of the city. Unfortunately, this is the hotel at the crossing of two main roads. This means that the traffic around the clock is very strong and especially at night when the Poser scene tries her PS-stark cars, I was always wake up at night. Also the equipment is simple and has come into the years. The garden fell to me immediately when hearing, because the holder was defect and it was no longer fitted. The very bright room was also a big problem because I could hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. The breakfast was a great disappointment, as low-quality goods were used, the cheapest available on the market. All in all, this was the last time I stayed in this hotel. On the second day I went to a bakery in the morning. Unfortunately, I can't make a recommendation for this hotel and advise potential guests to look after a better option. I arrived a week before my reservation and asked for a change in reception. But on the booking website they indicated that in the hotel they could, If HAVE WANT, make a refund to me. I commented on it with the hotel being at the same reception, I cancelled and booked a new room, but they did not make any refund or discount, the young woman who attended me lacked empathy and sympathy. I paid what it was booking directly at reception, more expensive than on the web, and I will not return to this hotel nor recommend it to my friends and colleagues. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable.

The price is very convenient. The location is very beautiful and Turkish restaurants are on the street. The room is a front number. The tea Water coffee is all available and the tea heating is available. I want to come back to a great place.

The hotel is just across the road from the pedestrianised town centre so really well located. Parking was free if you parked in the surface car park. The reception lobby was very ornate and hotel room was large. Only issue was a lack of aircon. As it was so hot the reception staff were happy to give large electric fans to anyone who asked for one to plug in their bedrooms.

Very nice hotel, wonderful rooms, large, spacious and stylish, with terrace. Very clean. Free car parking. Location of the hotel is not far from city center. Staff at reception was really helpful and professional. Everything was great! The only things I didn't like were: no fridge in the room and small bathroom.

Nice new hotel. Staff (and the dog) was great. Heating in the new building seems to be a problem. Breakfast was great, room also.

The b&b is a little outside the ”main mile” and is therefore quiet - very good. However, everything in the city center is very good to foot reach - for non-footmen*in there is a bus stop in front of the door. Everything appears quite new, it is also just being built. The rooms are very clean and for a hotel of this category generous and bright. There is a small lobby with jobs for PC and others. The staff is very friendly and helpful, However, the young man did not know anything at the reception with my registration form ;-) Some small disadvantages: Since I was there at the weekend and had enjoyed the night life in Bochum many evenings, it was very bald at breakfast time 9-10°°, there is no room for it in the small breakfast room, i.e. it was also in the lobby breakfast and the blows on the small but fine buffet were long, This may be different during the week ... In the hotel and in the rooms it was unfortunately quite cold, at an outdoor temperature of 18-20 C the air conditioning was very high or the heating was down and there were few corners in which it was not moved from the top, This is not necessary in spring and makes it uncomfortable.

Excellent city hotel in perfect vicinity to the city centre, the train station and the German football museum! Beautiful, cozy furnished lobby and bar. Extraordinary, wonderful, varied breakfast until 12:00! Here is everything the heart wants! Very friendly, helpful staff. Very nice, clean and well equipped rooms. Absolute wellness hotel. We can recommend this house of best conscience and have been allowed to spend a wonderful weekend in Dortmund here as a family (2 Erw. + 1 child)! We are very happy to come back. Continue so!

The decoration is very new, the facilities and equipment are intact and the hygiene is great. Typical HolidayInn style, suitable for business trips. If you need to list before ten o'clock for continuous living, otherwise you will not take the initiative to clean. In order to control the cost. Breakfast is very healthy Western style, full of sincerity. Many small restaurants around are good choices. Two minutes out is the largest civic square pedestrian street, five minutes is the largest shopping mall in the local area, ten minutes is the train station, ten minutes drive to the highway.
