The hotel was a complete disgrace, the pin code they gave us was wrong, and my night mate and I couldn't enter the hotel had to search for a different hotel for 1 hour. I definitely don't recommend it. They took the money of the hotel I didn't stay with from me. A total fiasco

The property is located on Via Etnea, making it an excellent choice for its location: just beyond Villa Bellini, which allows you to be right in the city center without being in a noisy area. It reflects its modest price. The building is a historic palazzo, converted into a hotel, with all that this entails: inevitably limited soundproofing, some cramped spaces, and less-than-ideal bathrooms. However, I repeat, for the price, the experience is more than adequate. The extraordinary location should also be considered, as well as the fact that we only stayed one night, so any issues may be less noticeable. Thanks to the staff: they were friendly at check-in and very helpful and friendly in the morning.

This is the worst hotel I've ever been to; it doesn't even qualify as a hotel. The management, environment, and front desk are all terrible. They discriminate against Asians and have unfair terms and conditions. Don't go there!

One of the two receptionists is friendly; the other is like a prison guard. Breakfast is meager. The room is large and spacious but dated. A refresh would be welcome.

A great location right next to the Garibaldi monument and the entrance to Villa Bellini Park. The legendary pastry shops Pasticceria Savia and Spinella on Via Etnea are just across the street, offering delicious and even filling dishes like Arancino. Check-in was quick and straightforward, with the only complaint being that they asked to take a photo of my credit card. The staff was friendly, and speaking English or Italian would greatly improve communication. The room was large, with a king-size bed (good linens and pillows, average mattress) and high ceilings. It was reasonably clean, though not without its flaws, such as yellow rust stains on the plumbing and black mold in the shower. But that's where the positives ended. Firstly, they won't let us air out the room, citing mosquitoes and threatening us with 100-euro fines for doing so. Despite the cool weather, the room is stuffy. Even with the air conditioning, they wouldn't give us the remote, explaining that it's not hot yet and that it's better to undress rather than cool the room. They're overly intrusive about making the bed – every day, each time, they do it differently, pulling the top sheet into an envelope, while rummaging through and sorting through our nightwear. They generally rummage through things, throwing out whatever they think is necessary, like shoe boxes, bags of plastic bottles, and the like. Although the towels are supposed to be changed every three days, they haven't changed them even once. They didn't provide any soap or anything like that upon arrival, but then they decided our soap bar wasn't fit for their sink and threw it away, replacing it with a bar of cheap hotel soap that doesn't lather. One face towel for two. The shower is very small, given the fairly large bathroom, and the shower curtain doesn't close completely. The water runs well, but you have to wait for the cold water to run. Don't take the breakfast—it's unsatisfactory and not at all Italian. Even the coffee... But overall, I recommend it, especially considering the price is 330 euros for 6 nights.

It was bad that we couldn't open the windows..it could have been solved with a simple mosquito net..we didn't need the air conditioner but if there was it didn't have a remote control..breakfast was average..the location was perfect so it's best not to see all the shortcomings..if I come again I would stay here.If we had looked at the negative comments we wouldn't have chosen this beautiful hotel..

I met the worst hotel staff in my life. Because my flight was late, I took an airport pick-up taxi to arrive at the hotel entrance just before 10 PM to make it to the check-in deadline at 10 PM, but I met an employee who didn't open the door when I rang the bell and left work at 10 PM, but he just ran away, so I had no choice but to wander around and check into another hotel nearby late. I felt that the mindset of hotel staff in the service industry was the worst, and I thought that there were many problems with the management policy of the hotel. I liked Italy and had been here several times, but this time, I realized how much influence one person's actions have on customers.

A very, very dilapidated B&B renovated from an old apartment. There were two local men at the front desk who were very aggressive. There is no wifi in the room, and the temperature in Sicily in July is as high as 40 degrees, so this store requires that the air conditioner be turned off every night. In order to minimize the use of guests, we limit the supply of roll paper and soap to guests. We are also required to leave the hotel after 10 o'clock every day, and sitting in the lobby is not allowed (sometimes we want to discuss some matters in the lobby for the next day's meeting, and we are in a hurry. people). After cleaning, I often find the door directly open. In order to confirm the indoor conditions, he even opened the door to check the air conditioning condition many times without saying hello. (A total stay of 5 days, two days without air conditioning) After the delayed air conditioning was repaired, they opened the door and entered our room without saying hello every day. My female colleagues share a room and cannot turn on the air conditioner in summer. They have to break in and chase people away after 10 o'clock during the day, which is really scary. In addition, even though all fees were paid in advance and I checked out on time (10:00 in the morning), my colleague was still charged 95 euros indiscriminately. I have been working here for 15 years and have been to many hotels at home and abroad. I have never had the worst experience. If you communicate in English and pretend not to understand, the translator will communicate in Italian and immediately scare you with a vicious look and not reply. The purchase included breakfast, but this store only bought two very low-quality breads every day, paired with some rotten fruit, which was extremely disgusting. You heard it right, it’s just two pieces of bread. Guests can only cut thin slices with a knife and eat them separately. There is often no breakfast to eat. At the same time, I caught the front desk lying many times during my stay, and my character is extremely poor. I don't think this hotel is suitable for any purpose.
