Stayed at this hotel as a overnight layover from boracay. We had a vert early morning flight. Pros: Hotel staff are absolutely lovely. Surprinsing roof top restaurant. Food was okay, cocktails nice. Generally a clean hotel. Very comfy bed. Convenient location. Cons: it's right on the port, so you are hearing everything if youre a light sleeper. Ie trucks coming in and out, dog fights people shouting. Everything. There was also a sewer smell that came from the bathroom. Overall OK enough for a stopover.

The Candice Lucy hotel is run by super friendly and polite staff, who made our stay run really smoothly. We booked through booking.com however after some ferry issues we couldn’t make it to the hotel for the date we originally booked. We arrived a day late and explained the situation, where they told it us was no problem and we could stay there regardless with no extra cost to change the date. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The cafe located on the ground floor was also lovely and the food gave us some western options which we were craving after being on Tablas island prior to our stay with little choice of food. WiFi was good. No problems whatsoever, really enjoyed our stay. All we would say was it was a little difficult to find as it is not sign posted and is down a small alley so we had to ask a local how to find it.

Because I didn’t catch the last boat on the island, I thought I was going to be near the dock that night. I thought of Ctrip. After I opened it, I found this nice hotel. I started to say that I didn’t have a room. Later I showed the order to the boss, she played The phone was given to Ctrip. After coordination, she gave me this last room, thank you very much Ctrip and the hotel. It took about ten minutes to walk from the pier.

Just beside the Caticlan Airport, walk for ten minutes. The facilities are average and the hotel staff is very nice! There is nothing to eat around, and there are Starbucks and the like at the airport. It is recommended to catch an early flight to fly to Manila.
