This is the second stay at the Casa. I had the same room a couple of blips with the shower but sorted within the day thank you Omkar. James you have amazing staff Lissa is a treasure during the recent war problem when people were stranded she was amazing juggling rooms. I was one that changed rooms so I could enjoy the stay. All your staff were polite friendly and helpful when I saw them. I hope god willing to take the reservation I made before leaving Hopefully in December Thank you all for another great holiday.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Casa De Cris, and it truly exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I could feel the warm hospitality and personal touch that makes this place so special. Its location is unbeatable—just a short 5-minute stroll to the pristine, golden sands of Cavelossim Beach and only 2 minutes from the tranquil River Sal. Everything you need, from restaurants to pubs, is within walking distance, yet the resort itself is peaceful and quiet. What sets Casa De Cris apart is the passion and dedication of its founder, James Barreto. Having worked in the cruise liner industry, he clearly knows how to create a memorable guest experience. Every detail reflects his vision to make Goa the perfect holiday destination. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, authenticity, and heartfelt hospitality, look no further than Casa De Cris. I can’t recommend it enough—I’ll definitely be coming back

great location, spacious rooms and tonnes of restaurants close by. even the beach is a 5 min walk away. but can be much better experience if the linen and breakfast is bettered.

This was the first time I have stayed at this hotel, although I have been visiting the area a number of years. Located centrally near to amenities, breakfast is provided as is transport to and from the beach, I have had so much fun. James you have amazing staff Lissa and Omkar are treasures so pleasant and always available when needed. Housekeeping maintain good standards everyday. Thank you and hopefully se you in December

Stayed in this wonderful Portuguese-style hotel for a week with my friends from 17 till 24 of March 2024. We arrived at 10 and were checked in immediately. Everything was great-the room was cleaned every day, the hotel itself is really well-groomed, every detail is well thought over, loads of flowers around, picturesque tiles, much greenery everywhere. Continental breakfast is included and there is a choice of eggs cooked in different ways,cereal,toasts with jam and butter. But the main treasure is the staff. They have always been friendly, welcoming and ready to help, especially Ish, who is everywhere-in the hotel, in beach shack and so nice and positive all the time. Thank you so much for great communication and customer-friendly approach) I would really have pleasure to come here on my next holiday again and recommend Casa De Cris to tourists.

Good place. Very friendly cordial staff and owner except that main beach is far off almost 2-3 kms

Just back from a lovely 2 weeks at Casa de Cris in Cavellosum beside Mobor beach. Our room was ensuite, spacious with a nice balcony. Housekeeping came in every day with fresh towels and sheets were changed regularly. Good guesthouse accommodation (not a luxury hotel) with room fridge , kettle , cups and glasses - very comfortable bed. Everything you could expect for the price. Location is good with restaurants nearby and a 10-15 minute walk to the wonderful beach with its choice of beach shacks each with great menus, including one owned and operated by our Guesthouse host, James. We have already booked for next year!

Had a fantastic time here! This is a charming, quaint & well run stay. Loved the location as it’s in the heart of all the exciting convenient things within the town. Mikes Place is the family related restaurant next door that is fun & convenient as you have live music, scrumptious food that creates a family joyful ambience. Got an excellent room with a spacious balcony, all the amenties that you can expect at a stay are provided & is cosy, clean. Special shoutout to Susan & LIsa for being helpful always & making sure we had a comfortable time. Shout out to Tony, Omkar & Vicky as well for their assistance throughout our stay. You will appreciate the meaningful touches, well curated greenery & breakfast area through the estate. Can’t wait to revisit again soon.
