Boutique Hotel Villa Pattiera

We spent last week in this fabulous Villa. Location great, deluxe room superb with our own massive balcony overlooking the sea and town. The staff, Martina, Nina, and Nina's sister and daughter were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, Martina even made us sandwiches for us to eat on the plane home. Breakfast was really good cheese, meat, cereals, and eggs how you would like them, home made marmalade from the orange tree on the shared terrace, (the blossom smelt so good). it was a practically faultless visit. Cavtat is a very nice old Croatian fishing port with a modern twist of great restaurants. There are nice walks around the Cavtat peninsular, all easy and pretty much flat. There is a regular half hourly bus service to Dubrovnik, 45mins, a little longer in traffic. Also there are regular water taxis straight to Dubrovnik Old Port, again 45mins but you arrive in the heart of the Old Town, (there is a 15min walk from the bus stop to Dubrovnik Pile Gate). We had a lovely week in the Villa Pattiera, would not hesitate to recommend.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip around the Balkans. We booked a deluxe double room, but wasn't expecting how good the room would be. We had room 5, which had a large comfortable bed and large sofa, which was perfect for relaxing in the air conditioning following a day in the sun. The room also has a large bathroom with shower and a large balcony, which looks out across Cavtat and perfect for watching the sun set. It is shared with one other room at the hotel, but our neighbours on the first night were a really friendly British couple. They even left us a couple of drinks when they checked out. Brreakfast is simple, with hot a wide variety, but certainly didn't go hungry. Croissants are baked fresh on the premises and toast, eggs, omelettes etc... are cooked to order. The eggs sunny side up were perfect. Only downside to breakfast is the limit to one coffee, which they prepare for you and it's delicious but would have liked more like at other hotels. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, loaning us beach towels and use of bottle opener so we could enjoy drinks on the balcony at night. We would definitely stay here again as it's located a few meters from the beach area and the staff and room were perfect.

5 of us stayed for 4 nights , the staff were so helpful and polite , nothing was to much trouble , lovely breakfast , eggs to order, spotlessly clean rooms , great showers and in a great position

Just returned from a week stay. We had a superior room which was serviced every day. A bit old fashioned which added to its charm. This was the birthplace of a famous Croatian opera singer and the house is right there on the promenade with every local amenity available. Bus station is right around the corner and it is only a short distance to the airport. Staff are friendly and breakfast is adequate. They have their own first class modern restaurant across from the hotel which was always well attended. This is so much better than the large corporate hotels and we thoroughly recommend it. You can easily get to Dubrovnik on lots of available water taxis and the local number 10 bus is only 4 Euros which takes about 30 minutes.

In the centre of the town, just how we like it so a great location. Lovely family staff.

A veritable treasure of a place to stay in the heart of Cavtat . The hosts and staff went above and beyond expectations to make our week special . We were even treated to wedding cake and bubbly the day after their family wedding ! Without exception everyone was welcoming and friendly . Return visit required.

Fabulous hotel and brilliant staff. We had a fantastic 10 days and they couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was good and available till 11. Great location in the centre of Cavtat, and not noisy at night. Room clean with a view of the sea. Would definitely return, thanks for helping to make our holiday so enjoyable x

The problem with leaving a review for the wonderful Villa Pattiera Boutique Hotel in Cavtat, Croatia, is that once the secret is out, we can't put it back ... and there goes any availability for us in 2026. 12 rooms and 12 tables, in an 1890's classical style former private home to a famous Opera singer, is only a small part of what makes Villa Pattiera so special. Huge rooms, period furnishings, balconies, super comfy beds, daily clean and fresh linen and towels, plus a private sun terrace garden to the rear, is just another small part of what makes Villa Pattiera so special ... and it has aircon. Then there's the 30 steps to the sea and their top quality restaurant situated directly opposite ... and the personal service. Fabulous!! But then there's the staff and the lady owner who is always on hand. Martina in reception is the nicest and most helpful person I have met at any hotel I've ever visited ... and at 68 years old I've been to a lot of hotels on this planet. My wife and I thank everyone at Villa P, you are delightful. We'll be back in 26 ... if we can get it.

We had a great 10 nights stay in this lovely boutique hotel. It is in a great location just up from the beautiful harbour front. Food was excellent - we ate every night in the hotel restaurant. Staff were very attentive. Especially Martina who put up with all my 'hubbies' questions and chat! Only negative for me was slightly limited choice at breakfast however more than adequate.
