We arrived late and had to register and collect our room key by using a machine outside the front door as reception was closed. The room allocated to us was 102 but the key delivered was 204. When we entered that room, we found that it was occupied. So we phoned the out of hours number provided and were talked through how to obtain another key for another room. This worked fine, and we got a lovely room with a balcony. We always say that how errors are corrected is more important than not having errors (everyone does) and this was handled effectively. The room was fine, the en-suite shower was powerful, and by facing over the car park the mornings were quiet. The breakfast was very comprehensive in the European style. All in all, we can’t fault this hotel.
