Viva Rooms

The location is very near to old town and bus station. The only problem is the check in. There is no much information on how to check in early. We waited at the door for half an hour before someone came in for the check in. We also have to carry our luggage up to 3 floors. Other than that, everything is good.

Location was great, room was freshly renovated and amenities were ok for the price. Property was very clean. Downstairs is a Thai takeout open to midnight and seems to be the place to go for street eating, therefore very loud and all you can smell if window open is take out Thai. Also entrance to building staircase no lights and people hanging around smoking dope etc. Go back late at night did not feel comfortable.

Very close to the old town. On street parking as well as closed parking lot close by. Rooms very neat and clean, kettle as well as tea and coffee in the room. The lady at reception is extremely friendly and very helpful. Just be informed that the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. Would stay there any time!

Basic hotel and budget rooms. You get what you pay for I suppose. Reception aren’t very warm and had the room behind the desk so it was noisy with people coming in and out. The location is the best thing about it. The rooms definitely need modernising as it’s all looking quite tired and dated. Fine for a night but if you’re staying longer then would recommend elsewhere.

Large room with fridge and kettle. Plenty of tea and coffee. Great area close to the centre of town. They do provide bowls and cutlery, but no cleaning equipment so it was difficult to wash them after usage. Good shower and plenty of towels. All in all it was a great stay and value for money.

Tired, unmanned out of daily hours, no lift but the price reflects this.

We visited for 2 nights. Great location, right in the center of the city. The room was standard, clear and tidy. I would like an elevator. Its a value for money choice.

The only thing this accommodation has going for it is the location The facilities are poor for the price and the service is really bad When we arrived we were told there would be nobody available to check us in so followed the instructions to collect keys etc when we got upstairs (there is no lift) there was a lady at the desk who did not even look at us or greet us. This is the only place in the world where we were not greeted by staff, unbelievable for all the wrong reasons And despite advertising luggage storage it is at the hosts strict availability The rooms have very flimsy doors which the rowdy guests next door managed to break, soundproofing is none existent and our bathroom whilst new was so badly designed the water went everywhere and the smell from the drain was disgusting Regret booking this place
