Staying at Hotel Tara Palace was a wonderful experience! The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Chandni Chowk and other famous attractions. The staff were friendly, the rooms cozy, and breakfast was delicious. It truly felt like a home away from home in the middle of busy Old Delhi.

you are not to expect a 5 star experience here, however it’s amazingly good value for money . The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean . No bottled water or tea facilities in room . Staff were amazing . Location right amongst the busy Old Delhi streets and highlights . We loved our stay .

We love Tara Palace the location and staff are amazing always willing to assist to ensure you have a memorable trip. Please note; Chandi Chowk may not be everyone's cup of tea however as experienced travellers the energy of the markets and street vendors is the reason we choose to stay. Tara Palace has a range of rooms - spacious and newly renovated and they offer a great tourist and booking service located at the hotel.

Strategically located near the Red Fort, this hotel is excellent. From my first involvement with them, I was impressed with their care – in their correspondence, airport information, shuttle service, in-hotel assistance, Delhi directions and so much more. (Please note that the airport shuttle service is not free. But, I was advised and would not have made it to the hotel otherwise.) Don’t be fazed by the access to the hotel from the street. It is a jewel amongst all the dredge of Delhi, so very close to the Red Fort. Really good stay,

Please stay away from this horrible place. I just went inside to ask them very nicely if I could use their wifi for only one minute to contact my friend and they asked me why they should do that. I am explained that I had just arrived in India and didn't have any internet and they still refused to allow me to use their wifi for only one minute. My friend was meeting me there at their location and I needed to let him know I had arrived. Still they refused. They were most unfriendly and undesirable people to deal with. The area around the hotel is absolutely disgusting and the reception was extremely dirty. Please do yourselves a favor and book somewhere elsr

I've stayed at this hotel at least two dozen nights in the past, favoring it for it's simple, consistent service, and great location. My first time staying since the pandemic, I can no longer recommend this hotel. A large room with a balcony view of the fort was replaced with a small closet overcrowded with furniture and with no exterior window. No AC remote was provided, so to turn the ac on or off you have to unlock the door and turn it off in the hallway. No remote was provided for the TV either. The dining hall, where breakfast was served is now being used as a storage room and breakfast had to be taken in the room. I received at least six unsolicited phone calls asking me to order food from the restaurant. I had to pay for bottled water when I arrived. Some sort of construction in the building could be heard at most hours of the day. Simple things that this hotel used to do right.

Clean, excelent service, quiet, spacy room. The area looks a little scary at first sight but it´s safe, no worries. Centric, interesting places around. It worth it. Walking distance to the red fort, the Jama Masjid, many temples, metro station, in the middle of the market.
