Garni Hotel Castle Bridge

Stayed here for two nights as a couple at the end of September 2026. We booked a deluxe double room with balcony. The balcony was the highlight of the room as you had fantastic views across the river over to the castle and cloak bridge. This is a small hotel and reception is only manned between 7am and 7pm. There is a number to call in between these times but we never needed it. Your room key operators the front door during the hours. The room was a decent size and well furnished. The bed was a bit on the hard size for our preference but wasn’t a major issue. The bathroom had a good shower but the sink area was very small with very little storage space. Breakfast was good with a good choice of options. You could eat inside of out in the riverside patio. Overall, aside for a few minor flaws, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and the balcony view in particular was a highlight.

Our stay at Garni Hotel Castle Bridge was truly wonderful. 🏰✨ Perfectly located right in the heart of Old Town, it made exploring the charm of Český Krumlov so easy and enjoyable. 🛏️ The room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. We especially loved the terrace overlooking the river and castle — waking up to the snowy riverside view felt absolutely magical. 🛁 The bathroom was big, spotless, and well-maintained. 🤝 Service was excellent and genuinely friendly, with fast and smooth check-in and check-out. 🍽️ Breakfast was beautifully presented with a wide variety of options — fresh fruits, cereals, hot dishes, juices, and pastries — everything we needed to start the day right. 💯 A lovely stay overall, and we would definitely return!

The view from the room is absolutely worth it. It is far from the main center and if you have trolley wheel bags- prepare for some looks from the people. Breakfast is apt and cosily tucked in a small area, which I feel very homely.

Situated right in the middle of town in a quiet side street the location is fantastic, less than 8 minutes walk from where we parked. Our room on the ground floor had a private terrace that backed right up to the Vltava river and the view across to the Hrad was great, day and night. Breakfast was more than adequate for us vegetarians (not something you can always guarantee in Cz). There’s no bar or lounge but, as I said, you’re right in the middle of town where the choices are many. Our stay was enhanced by the excellent Soňa who was a source of great advice about both Češky Krumlov and the surrounding area. We intend to stay again. I

This is not the cheapest accommodation in town but its pricing is justified by the quality of the hotel. The location is brilliant. Our room was spotlessly clean. Great to have a walk in shower with very hot water. The bed was quite firm but it was very comfortable. The river view was lovely. We were surprised by the breakfast offered. There was an extensive range of food and it was replenished quickly by the staff. Would gladly stay here again.
