Changbai Donggang Hotel

The location is excellent! There's a night market downstairs in the evening, and the delicious Siji Noodle restaurant is nearby. It's also not far from the riverside. They have parking spots with an attendant to help guide you. The breakfast is homemade by an auntie, simple but very tasty. The room is a bit old, but the hygiene is good, and the water pressure is incredibly strong and satisfying! It's definitely not like a chain hotel, but for this price, I think it's perfectly fine and totally worth it!

The room facilities are incredibly outdated, especially the bathroom. There are two steps of different heights at the entrance, making it easy to trip. The shower and toilet are practically on top of each other, so every time I showered, I had to wipe down the toilet afterward. What was truly unbearable was that the room was already damp, and the exhaust fan was broken. When I reported it to the front desk, they actually said they didn't have parts for the exhaust fan and would have to order them from Shenyang – what a joke! The sink was also uneven, higher on one side than the other, so water would flow towards the toilet and drip down. All in all, it was a very poor experience, and I do not recommend it.

In order to go to the south slope of Changbai Mountain, I chose Changbai Donggang Hotel. The hotel has its own parking lot. Although it is not big, it is enough for parking. The room is at the level of an ordinary guesthouse, the bed is super hard, but why would you need a bicycle in a small town🚲~ The breakfast is not rich, but the shredded potatoes are delicious~ And you have to go to breakfast early, there will be no seats if you are late😂😂😂

The price for booking rooms online during the holidays is too high, the hotel is not at the level of this booking price at all, booking rooms on site is very cheap, and it is a rip-off when the check-out time is exceeded, it is not the case at all!

The hotel prices have increased during the National Day holiday, so it's hard to book a hotel. However, Changbai Donggang Hotel is indeed a good hotel in the area. It's located in the central area, but the facilities and environment are small, so you can't expect too much. Overall, it's OK.

We stayed in the most expensive hotel during the National Day holiday. It is understandable that the price would increase during holidays, but it cannot increase by 3 times, right? Doesn’t the government intervene in management? Doesn’t the government consider the business environment and the city’s image?

The house is not big and the bathroom does not have a shower partition. It's on the street, but fortunately it's not too noisy. I left my facial cleanser in the room. I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

The hotel is located next to a busy street. Apart from being a little noisy, there are no other major problems. It is quite satisfactory. There is a parking lot for self-driving tours. It is an ideal place to stay for climbing Changbai Mountain South Scenic Area.

Close to the downtown area, there is a night market and karaoke rooms downstairs, it is noisy at night, but otherwise it is ok.
