JI Hotel (Beidaihe New District Administrative Committee)

I contacted the hotel in advance to let them know I'd be arriving between 12 AM and 1 AM, and they explicitly said they'd hold a room for me. However, when I arrived late at night, I was directly assigned a leftover room. What's even more ridiculous is that the staff told me during check-in that renovations would start at 9 AM the next morning, guaranteeing a restless night's sleep. Given they knew about the upcoming renovations and the poor room location, they didn't disclose it beforehand, nor did they honor their promise to reserve a room. Overall, a very disappointing experience. If renovations were starting at 9 AM, why didn't they tell me earlier? Where was I supposed to find another hotel at 1 AM?

The newly renovated hotel has excellent facilities, a beautiful environment, and is very close to Aranya. I would definitely stay here again next time I come!

The new hotel facilities are quite good, the breakfast is delicious, and the service is very friendly. However, the soundproofing is a bit poor; you can clearly hear children making noise outside.

It's a very new hotel, only a 15-minute drive from Anaya, which is very convenient. Most importantly, it's a new hotel, so the bedding was very comfortable, and the room was very clean. It had a smart electric heated toilet, and the shower had a strong water pressure. I was very satisfied with my stay. The service was also excellent; I requested an extra blanket, and they provided it in the room – very thoughtful! The breakfast was passable, but considering it's off-season and the price, you can't expect too much. A bowl of hot wontons in the morning was quite nice. Overall, I was satisfied!

It's a mixed bag. The price is affordable, and the front desk staff are very patient. However, it's newly renovated, so the smell is too strong. There's also large equipment right outside the window, making it very noisy when the window is open, so it's not a very comfortable place to stay.

This was my second time staying in a Ji Hotel family room. I've always trusted their cleanliness. We arrived quite late with my child, and as soon as we got there, I gave him a bath. There was a huge piece of false eyelash on the towel! I almost threw up. The next day, when I checked out and spoke to the front desk, the young woman said, "We change the towels for each guest; it must have fallen off the cleaning lady." I just laughed. She told me not to worry and to understand. I've never seen such an absurd explanation. Either they didn't change the towel, or they didn't clean it at all. How could a cleaning lady wearing false eyelashes fall onto a towel? Either way, it's unacceptable. And they just brushed it off with a flimsy explanation. With my child in tow, I didn't want to argue with them. Bad review, please.

Everything else was fine, but the front desk told us that for 50 yuan we could upgrade to a gold membership and get a room upgrade. It turned out it was just a one-time "trial gold membership," not a full membership. We only realized we weren't gold members when we tried to book another hotel today 😅 Couldn't they have made that clear from the beginning?
