The family that owns the hotel is extremely nice! The room is clean, and if you book the panoramic room, you get an amazing view of the mountains covered in bamboo. The restaurant downstairs is delicious, especially their special breakfast noodles that the owners recommended!

Help yourself. Do not go there. The owner doesn't speak any words of english, but that's okay, because I can speak chinese, but he didn't even speak chinese! His wife did translation for me. When we arrived at Channing train station I called him to have some information to reach his homestay, but he was useless. Once we arrived he just asked to us insistently if we wanted to have dinner ( in order to have more money) or if we wanted to stay one more night or if we wanted to have breakfast next morning. Not even gave us information how to visit Bamboo forest. Just thinking money. And he didn't provide any towels but the last awful part was discovering that in the bathroom there wasn't the sitting toilet, just squatting toiled...How can you do this! The bed was so thin and it looks like you was sleeping on the floor. Terrible experience.
