I recently had the pleasure of staying at Muyi Hotel, and I cannot commend the establishment enough for its exceptional service, particularly from one remarkable individual: Miss Mini Jian at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, Miss Jian greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine, welcoming attitude that instantly made me feel at home. Her professionalism was evident as she efficiently handled my check-in process while ensuring that all my questions were answered. She went above and beyond to provide personalized recommendations for local attractions and dining options that truly enhanced my stay. What stood out the most was her attentiveness and willingness to assist. During my stay, I encountered a minor issue, and Miss Jian addressed it promptly and with such a positive demeanor that it transformed a potentially stressful situation into a seamless experience. Her proactive approach and problem-solving ability are commendable and reflect the high standards of service that Muyi Hotel represents. Miss Mini Jian embodies the spirit of hospitality, and her dedication to making guests feel valued and appreciated did not go unnoticed. It's rare to encounter someone with such a genuine passion for their work. She made my stay not only comfortable but memorable. CSS was a pretty decent hotel. It is outside of the main tourist areas, so it was quiet, but it is still pretty convenient. There are a few nice restaurants close by. The river view is very nice. The hotel was okay overall.

I enjoyed my stay at the Dolton and felt the location was pretty central to all the attractions I wanted to see. I thought the hotel was good value and the breakfast was decent. The rooms are a little dated but still comfortable. It was pretty quiet and I enjoyed the nice warm room and shower after cold days in Changsha. I was disappointed that many of the amenities were closed and only found out when I went to use the pool. I'm sure if I spoke Chinese someone would have told me. Most areas of the hotel are non smoking but some areas smell quite smoky. My room was fine but even in areas where there was non smoking signs men were lighting up. For covid requirements the Changsha health code works best and they did ask for a negative covid test once I checked in. The rules in Changsha overall seem relaxed for mask enforcement and many people were using the breakfast buffet and walking around the hotel without masks.

Although the room furniture is slightly dated, it is conveniently located next to i-City mall and serves as a centralised location to explore Changsha. Opt for the daily breakfast and you will not be disappointed. Most of the local food can be found at the buffet and the view on the 43rd floor is magnificent. The only downside was the strong smell of cigarettes that permeated the air in the room. Remember to bring your own swimming cap if u intend to utilise the indoor swimming pool, otherwise u will not be allowed to enter the pool. Swimming caps retail at 40CNY a piece, so BYOC (Bring Your Own Cap)!

There is a subway near the hotel that goes directly to Changsha Huanghua Airport. It is also close to May Day Square, which makes travel very convenient. It was lunchtime when I arrived at the hotel and I was a little hungry. I smelled the aroma of roasted sweet potatoes in the hotel lobby, but I thought they needed to be purchased. I didn't expect them to be free. The service of Xiao Wang at the front desk was good and the check-in process was fast. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy, and the price/performance ratio was very high. It is a very good hotel.

Very convenient location for Changsha South Railway. Room clean and spacious. Laundry facilities and gym on 15th floor. However, I was shocked at the lack of sound proofing between rooms. As someone who had chosen the hotel as I had an early train the next morning, I was continually woken up through the night by other guests returning. You can even hear fellow guests turning on / off their light switches in the neighbouring rooms…

The hotel is very clean and profesional. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast has an ample range for the hungry traveller with the Chinese food cooked to perfection and decent bread but not many cereal options. I would have preferred there to be sugar-free options with the hot drinks but there is hot water for tea bags. The decor is superb and bed warm and comfortable. I didn't get to see the museum so if I come back then I will probably choose to stay here again!

Checked in on Sat 28th before my fiancé to arrange some things like wedding flowers, decorations etc. Katrina at reception was absolutely fantastic. She followed up on the requests I had and verified the Trip.com staff information which was sent earlier. She was extremely friendly, kind, thoughtful, diligent, and professional - a real asset to IHG. She took care of everything. She arranged the decorations to be done after we left for marriage registration so when I got back it would all be ready for my wife. The facilities and service like the 1st floor all day dining restaurant, the Sky27 bar and Intercontinental club on the 27th floor, were wonderful. The Latin band (Cuban / Colombian duo) were magnificent and quite friendly ✊ Breakfast boxes were arranged for our early departure on 31st. The taxi was ordered and promptly arrived ahead of time to collect us. Hotel staff checked if I was an IHG member and applied my discounts where relevant. Breakfast buffet and all day a La carte dining was wonderful. Shopping mall access through the hotel lobby is easily accessible and quite convenient. All in all, it was a marvellous few days at Intercontinental Changsha.

amazing stay, love the extra mile services from (小钟) xiao zhong 👍🏻 whenever we have questions, she speak with patience and understands that we are from overseas. we went to wash our clothes and bumped into her at the lift, she offered to help us to get our dryer clothes and send it back to our hotel room. hotel is pretty too 😍👍🏻❤️ highly recommend!!
