Crystal Orange Changsha IFS

Great location, newly renovated, with a view of IFS and Wuyi Square right outside the window!

I specifically chose this place for the scenic view. Having visited Changsha many times with friends before, this time I immediately fell in love with this room type with my girlfriend because it offers a direct view of IFS from inside. The value for money is excellent, it's convenient to get anywhere, and the price perfectly matches the value.

Changsha Guojin Orange Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Wuyi Square and IFS, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The design is modern and minimalist, with spacious rooms offering great views, some overlooking the city. Service is prompt and responsive, though soundproofing is a bit weak, and street-facing rooms might experience some noise. Considering its prime central location, the value for money is upper-mid range, suitable for business travelers and tourists on short stays.

Full of anticipation for an exciting and vibrant adventure, we set off for Changsha, and the Orange Crystal Hotel IFS became the most delightful surprise of our trip. The hotel is located directly opposite IFS, next to Wangfujing Department Store, and a host of attractions like Huangxing Road Walking Street are all within walking distance. The location is absolutely superb, making getting around incredibly convenient and pleasant. In the evenings, we'd head out for dinner and shopping, then stroll back after enjoying some rice noodles, making for a truly relaxing experience. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, blending both Eastern and Western flavors. Freshly made noodles, steaming hot, are a highlight, while the healthy teas are refreshing and help cut through richness. The aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries fills the air. The extended breakfast hours, from 7 AM to 10 AM, were a lifesaver for me, a late sleeper. The gym is well-equipped, and the laundry room is clean and convenient, with automatic washing machines, dryers, and detergents readily available 24/7, making our travels even easier.

The room was a bit small, but nicely decorated, and the bedding and bath amenities were quite comfortable. It's newly renovated, and while the windows are a bit small and there was a slight odor in the corner, we were able to get a fan from the front desk, which helped a lot. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. All four branches of Tea Color Yue Se downstairs are open until late, and it's very convenient to get to Orange Isle, Yuelu Mountain, and the pedestrian street. The room also had a nice view, and breakfast was plentiful. The front desk even has a lounge area for guests, which is a great touch.

I chose this hotel because it's newly opened and right in the city center. The location is super convenient, with a Chayan Yuese (tea shop) downstairs, perfect for grabbing drinks. I paid to upgrade to a room facing the IFS (International Finance Square), and when I pull back the curtains, I can see the IFS directly, along with the KAWS sculpture. It's great for taking photos right from the room, very photogenic! The front desk staff, Yuanyuan, provided excellent service 👍
