The hotel was good, location perfect right next to wuyi square subway. Lobby is nice but rooms a little run down. Wallpaper is damaged or peeling and maintenance of things like bathroom extractor fan is poor, probably contributing to the damp issues affecting the walls. But a perfectly ok last minute booking

Best veiw by window, river veiw little issue of sound proof windows due to traffic by a road side friendly staff very clean highly recommended. I would like to stay here again.

I have never been moved by such a good hotel, which makes me feel like family and home! This is Changsha Tongcheng International Hotel! From the moment you check in, you can feel the grandeur of the lobby. The greeters at the door are courteous, the sculptures are flowing, and the flowers are blowing in the lobby. The lady and gentleman at the front desk greet you with smiles, and you quickly check in. After entering the room, the view is wide, the room is spacious, bright, comfortable and quiet, and the king bed room is upgraded for free. What's particularly considerate is that the hotel saw me and my eighty-year-old mother together, and specially arranged the room next door for easy care. When I have something to go out, if the old lady encounters a problem, call the front desk, and the floor will be available immediately. The waitress came over and took the trouble to help, including the young waiter on the first floor of the lobby, who would also carefully help and deliver me to the breakfast room on the first floor. The breakfast on the first floor is rich and complete, and the restaurant manager is amiable. He came over to greet my mother, which made people feel very friendly and deserves special praise. The whole hotel is filled with a cheerful and comfortable feeling of going home. There is a tea tasting at the entrance of the hall, and local specialty teas are priced at an affordable price. It is easily accessible from all directions. It is a 20-minute drive from Juzizhoutou and Yuelu Academy. Next door is the Hunan Grand Theater, which performs various performances every day. I especially took my mother to watch the Happy Mahua performance. It was really fun. ! The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel is also very delicious, with reasonable prices and many flavors. After staying at Tongcheng International Hotel for three days, I didn’t want to leave. I feel that when I come to Changsha in the future, I will not stay anywhere else but the beautiful Tongcheng International Hotel!

The service was really really good! I contacted them before coming and they helped to get a taxi waiting at the airport, even the day after they helped me book a car to the train station which help a lot for my travel. They even helped me with my luggage, and if you have any problems just ask them and they will definitely try to help you as much as they can. The room is also clean and big! The scenery is awesome, you can enjoy night city views and transportation is also easy just walk for around 5mins and you will get to the subway. Even buying food and things are convenient since there is a mall right below it.

Arrive in Changsha on the third day of the first ***** month. Take the subway from Changsha South Station to Furong Square, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk to the hotel. The hotel is under an overpass, and the lobby is very splendid and grand. It looks like an old five-star hotel, which is unmatched by some current chain hotels. The front desk service is very good, there are various scented teas in the lobby, and there is also a special snack exhibition hall for customers to taste at will. The various red banners hanging are full of New Year's flavor, and there is also a bullish statue of a golden bull ~ very good. The elevator is very fast. Even if you live above the 30th floor, it should be full these days but there is never any delay. The twin room is very large, with a big bed, a hanging room and a sofa. There is a bathtub in the bathroom, equipped with disposable bath bags, bath salts, disposable toilet seats, etc. Although it does not look modern, it is very warm and comfortable. It is more convenient to go shopping in Wuyi Square. If you return, take bus 3 or bus 109 and get off at Bayi Bridge, which is just 200 meters next to the hotel. When you go out of the hotel, turn left and walk 200 meters to Hunan Mifen Street, where the tea is delicious. The only drawback is: the floor drain smells bad! The bathroom exhaust fan was not turned on the first night, and the smell was terrible. Later, I closed the toilet lid, covered the floor drain, and opened the room door to ventilate the room better. This problem needs to be solved.

The room is really comfortable. I manage to sleep like a baby and the location is very strategic just opp the railway station. A tips, you can request the hotel to pick you up from the railway station to the hotel and vice versa. This service is free of charge. Feedback to the front desk, to focus more on their work because upon check in, I have specifically requested a non-smoking room but I was assigned a smoking room instead. Definitely not a great experience.

The hotel is very clean and profesional. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast has an ample range for the hungry traveller with the Chinese food cooked to perfection and decent bread but not many cereal options. I would have preferred there to be sugar-free options with the hot drinks but there is hot water for tea bags. The decor is superb and bed warm and comfortable. I didn't get to see the museum so if I come back then I will probably choose to stay here again!

I have never lived in an InterContinental, and the first stay was dedicated to Changsha. Overall very satisfied! The front desk service is very comfortable. After checking in, he personally guided us to the elevator. The 270-degree river view in the room couldn't be more comfortable as shown in the picture, and the extended balcony can feel the river view more intuitively. The location of the InterContinental is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, there is a jogging track downstairs, and the greenery is also very comfortable. The swimming pool and gym are also very good~ I planned to go for a swim, but it turned out that I just ate, drank and chatted with my friends, and running and swimming were useless~ Stay in the exclusive business balcony room, as well as the privileges of the executive lounge. Have some appetizers and drinks before dinner. The view of the river is also very beautiful. Next time you come to Changsha, you should stay at the InterContinental

Decent hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the staff were very attentive. They have own self-service laundry room. Very convenient for people traveling for business purposes.

A very well kept established hotel with large room , clean, impressive toiletries ( Appelles brand ), excellently located to main tourist spots.Though Changsha is a place full of wonderful food ( chilli drenched fish head), there is a McDonald next door (just in case). The hotel staff also very polite and very kind in giving us free goodies bag ( full of local famous Hunan snacks) and by booking with Trip.com, was offered free most famous Local Bubble tea Cha Yan Yue Se 茶颜悦色 delivered to room.
