The environment of the courtyard is superb! Great value for money, the boss's family is warm and sincere, the room is very clean, the dishes are fresh and delicious, and the farm chicken pot is especially recommended! The chicken is free-range chicken on the mountain, the meat is super tender, and the soup is delicious! I ate two meals at their house, which was delicious! The breakfast is also delicious. The fried dumplings for breakfast are made by the boss's family, absolutely delicious! A super expected stay experience, I will choose Ru Ni Su Yuan next time, and I wish the boss a prosperous business!

Parking is very convenient, both on the ground and underground. The room is clean and tidy, and the breakfast is also good. It may be that they are all my favorites. The service is great. Because baby food needs to be refrigerated, the front desk thoughtfully put it in the hotel refrigerator and also provides midnight snack service. It was a very satisfactory accommodation experience! 😊

PuermanaimiThe hotel was excellent, and we were upgraded to a Lake Taihu view room with fantastic scenery. The breakfast was also very rich and plentiful. We brought our child, and had many personalized requests, asking for various things to be delivered, which were all quickly responded to and satisfied. Overall, we were very pleased.
If I had to mention a drawback, it's that Dragon Dream is simply too big. During the summer, it's very crowded. Getting from the hotel to the Grand Circus, Performance City, and Animal Park was convenient, but getting back was pretty challenging, especially after the Grand Circus show ended. Driving would get stuck in traffic, and the shuttle bus required long queues. One point of criticism is about the Grand Circus. If you buy a guest ticket and can't upgrade to VIP or Supreme, you have to arrive very early to queue and grab a good seat. Otherwise, without a good spot, you really can't see anything. Is it that hard to implement assigned seating and tiered sales? Having to queue in the summer with multiple children in tow was truly unbearable. I hope this feedback can be relayed to the scenic area for improvement.

zhang1051When traveling, where you stay is really important. Since we were going to the performance complex and wanted to see the grand circus, we chose this ancient town hotel, as online reviews said it was the best in the area.
Our actual experience was decent. For a 1000 RMB room rate that also included the grand circus and performance complex, it was good value for money.
The hotel lobby and breakfast restaurant are both incredibly spacious, clearly designed to handle large crowds from the start.
The breakfast selection was also extensive, though primarily focused on popular Chinese dishes.
Just a side note: being a large hotel comes with its own issues – it's a lot of walking! After leaving the performance complex at night, we accidentally walked to the adjacent Ruifeng hotel and then had to trek quite a distance back.
The ancient town view room truly offered a view of the fireworks, which was fantastic.

Guest UserThis was a truly awful experience. First, upon check-in, the front desk staff was unfamiliar with their system. They couldn't find my reservation at first. After I showed them my Ctrip order, they found it but said I had only booked for two nights, even though my booking was for three. Eventually, she found another two-night reservation, claiming it was from an agent, but I only ever had one continuous three-night booking with Ctrip. It wasn't my fault at any point, but the front desk showed no apology and was unfriendly. It was only when I angrily threatened to complain to Ctrip that they finally sorted out my three-night continuous stay.
Secondly, there was absolutely no contact from any butler or staff throughout my stay. I wasn't informed about local tourist attractions or performances, and there was simply no service provided.
Thirdly, on my second day, at 1:30 PM, while I was resting in my room, I was disturbed by a phone call from the front desk asking if I wanted to extend my stay. I'm a light sleeper, and this interruption meant I couldn't get back to sleep for the next 45 minutes, no matter how hard I tried. Because of this midday disturbance, I developed a headache later that afternoon and evening (I suffer from migraines, which typically flare up when I'm overworked and haven't rested well, but usually subside after rest. I hadn't had an attack for six months – thanks a lot!).
I angrily complained to Ctrip that afternoon, and they forwarded it to the 'manager.' The manager called to offer a verbal apology but essentially implied that since there were two separate bookings, they called me. Later, listening to a recording I casually made, it was clear that your phone staff knew I had a booking for the next day and were asking if I wanted to extend *tomorrow afternoon*. Is this how your hotel treats guests? Disturbing a guest's rest, and the manager just offers a verbal apology, primarily shifting blame to the reseller.
Fourthly, most of the scenic family rooms offer a side view. I requested a front-facing room or a higher floor, but was told there were very few available and I'd have to wait until the next day after check-out. I didn't want the hassle, so I settled, and thankfully, I could still see the fireworks completely.
Compared to our stay at Moganshan Senbo Kaiyuan, this hotel is just a hotel. The breakfast was especially poor, there was no service to speak of, no butler, and they even call you during your midday nap. They refuse to admit their mistakes, always blaming the agent. There's simply no service attitude or quality to be found.
Oh, and speaking of breakfast, the breakfast staff charged us 38 RMB. Even after showing her our breakfast-inclusive booking for three people, it took until the second day for a refund. And then she claimed it was our fault for not asking for the refund when we left on the first day.

Location & Transportation: This hotel is ideal for those traveling by car. The owner has essentially taken over an entire mountain, from the lake at the bottom to the tea house at the top, with fruit orchards and vegetable gardens in between. You can pick different fruits depending on the season. Hygiene: Very clean! Not a single strand of hair in the lobby. The cleaning staff starts early in the morning and is still tidying up past 11 PM, even meticulously cleaning each window. Breakfast: I had read reviews saying the breakfast had limited options, but this time, there were so many varieties! Plus, the stir-fried dishes changed daily. Perhaps because they're farm-to-table, all the vegetables were incredibly delicious and sweet! They also had pickled vegetables and bamboo shoot noodles, just like childhood. Service: All the staff greet you warmly; it feels more like a family-run hotel. If you're comparing it to a five-star hotel, you might find some differences, but the staff, especially the young ladies, remember your face. If you forget your key card and go to the front desk, they'll know your room number just by looking at you. A special shout-out to the young lady with an oval face and ponytail; she walked us to the door when we left and invited us back when the 'fried' season (likely a local delicacy or fruit) starts in August. Restaurant: The restaurant food is excellent! The ingredients are incredibly fresh. I highly recommend the fish head and tofu soup; it has absolutely no fishy taste! And the prices are very reasonable. Room Facilities: Since we stayed in a basic room type this time, the room wasn't huge, but the massive floor-to-ceiling windows offered a very expansive view. The only drawback is that the mountain opposite is a coal mine, which slightly affects the scenery. Activities: You can choose from paid activities like fishing, stand-up paddleboarding, and boat rides. Any fish you catch can be prepared for free at the restaurant.

The room was very spacious and the surroundings were nice. However, there was no screen on the window, so mosquitoes were a problem since there was no electric mosquito repellent. The showerhead in the bathroom was a bit old, and the sink faucet was poorly positioned, causing water to splash onto the floor, which was quite inconvenient. Also, the hotel required a deposit, which felt like an extra hassle. The room was also missing a chair; I'd suggest adding one.

KasiyangmanchongThis was my first time bringing my 2-year-old son to Chimelong, and I chose the Animal World Hotel. It's right next to the Animal World, which was super convenient as my son loves animals. We went through both the safari drive-through and the walking zones. You can access it directly from the hotel's basement, which was incredibly handy! It's also very close to the Grand Circus show. The hotel staff added me on WeChat right away and arranged everything perfectly for me! I didn't hesitate to extend our stay for another night!

When visiting Zhejiang and Shanghai, a staycation is an unmissable travel experience. This time, I chose the Laiye Twelve Beasts Designer Homestay in Heping Town, Wuxing District, Huzhou. The entire homestay is nestled among tea gardens surrounded by mountains, with a strong sense of design. There are 12 rooms on 3 floors, each named after a Chinese zodiac animal. Each room has a different style, with some offering tranquil views of vegetation by the window and others offering views of green tea mountains. Each room has its own unique charm. This time, my family and I experienced the rat, sheep, ox, and dog staycations. Each staycation gave me a different feeling. The homestay's own sika deer was the children's favorite, and there was also a silver shaded dog named Zongzi that was very friendly to the guests.

Let's start with the only positive: the hotel is located within the ancient town, which makes it convenient to explore and pop back for a rest whenever needed. The overall cleanliness was decent; on the first day, I requested cleaning before heading out, and my room was tidied up by the time I returned. My biggest complaint is how incredibly small the room was. I've never stayed in such a tiny hotel; it barely fit two beds with just enough room to walk. There was no desk, only one chair. The facilities were very old and run-down. The wall outlets were so loose that my charger wouldn't even stay in. The air conditioning would turn off shortly after being switched on, requiring me to get up and restart it every time. I couldn't tell if it was broken or intentionally set up that way. Luckily, it wasn't cold during my stay, so the AC issue wasn't a major problem.
