Grand New Century Resort, Changxing, a Tribute Portfolio Resort

The room with floor-to-ceiling windows facing a bamboo forest was very pleasant. The facilities and toiletries were good, but the service didn't match the hardware. The Chinese restaurant was in chaos because of a wedding banquet upstairs. They brought wrong dishes and some ordered dishes didn't arrive for half an hour, which ruined the entire dining experience. The waitstaff showed no apology for this. The front desk staff were also indifferent; when checking out, I asked if there were souvenirs after seeing other children receive them, and they reluctantly handed something to my child. The only staff member who deserves praise is Master Xu, the shuttle driver, who provided 5-star service throughout.

It was alright. The hotel's several parks weren't very big, and breakfast was mediocre. There weren't many dining or entertainment options nearby, making transportation a bit inconvenient. It's okay for a one-time visit, good for a relaxing trip.

The environment exceeded my expectations; the entire hotel is like a park with mountains and water, and there are plenty of activities for children. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. I'll definitely come back again.

The hotel is built around a small lake, perfect for a refreshing walk. The kids' playground has plenty of activities, and my daughter especially loved the high-altitude rope course. The hotel dinner was delicious, though it was a shame the mountain chicken was limited and we didn't get to try it.

The hotel is great, with plenty of outdoor activities for kids, making it perfect for family trips. Our butler, TIAN, contacted us in advance and sent over some helpful information. The staff, despite being busy, were all very polite. We'd love to come back again!

We stayed at the hotel for leisure, then drove to Yixing, which was about a twenty-minute drive, so the round trip was acceptable. The main draw was that it was less crowded and more comfortable. The hotel's facilities and services were excellent, it looked good, and the staff were very enthusiastic. I have one small suggestion: it would be great if they could air out the room by opening the windows before check-in. When we opened the door, there was a strong smell of renovation, and the elevator also had a slight odor, probably because it's a new hotel. Also, the surrounding area is quite undeveloped, with limited food options and no delivery services.

The environment is nice, and the service is very good. The room design is quite unique, facing a small bamboo forest, and the balcony is very comfortable. However, dinner at the restaurant was a disaster. Even my grandma could tell the food was pre-made. The prices were sky-high too; a bowl of noodles, similar to what's served for breakfast, cost 48 yuan. We ordered stir-fried bamboo shoots, but what arrived was bamboo shoots in broth with cured meat. When we asked why it wasn't what we ordered, the restaurant staff insisted the soup dish was 'stir-fried'. Customers were lining up to complain. I definitely won't choose this place again if I visit Changxing.

The hotel has a beautiful environment and the staff are warm and polite. It's perfect for families traveling with children, who can explore the hotel grounds, enjoy the scenery, and visit the adventure park and petting zoo. Fantastic!
