The hotel informed us in advance that it was under renovation, and the scaffolding blocked the view of Qingguo Lane, but the front desk was very enthusiastic and helped to change it to a non-blocked room. The room was a little bigger and the elderly were more comfortable. Due to the renovation, breakfast was delivered to the room, and the buffet became a set meal. The quantity was much larger and I couldn't finish it. In terms of facilities, the room could have one more chair, and it would be better if there was a place to hang towels and a small refrigerator. The service was great, and I felt at home, like a family. I look forward to the new look of the hotel after the renovation is completed at the end of April.

It was early autumn, the warmth was just beginning to fade, the moon was full, the crabs were plump, the sweet-scented osmanthus was bright, and it was not yet in a bleak and dreary state. It was the best time to enjoy music. At first, I chose Jiuyuan with the mentality of strolling in the garden. The autumn scenery was dazzling and the garden landscape was a scene at every step. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the soft and silky bedding left a deep impression. The courtyard was quiet and elegant, and the sun was clear and bright. My sister specially sent us some side dishes cooked by herself. I thought that sitting in the garden at this moment, with flowers in the cup and close friends by my side, was already a great experience. The service team of this trip gave us a different surprise. The housekeeper Wang Jinyuan, the front desk Luo Qian, and the state guest specialist Wang Dan cooperated tacitly, which was remarkable. They were thoughtful but not too intrusive. Especially the state guest specialist Wang Dan, who saw my sister and I strolling around She took the initiative to offer to accompany me on the tour, introduced the landscape of Jiuyuan in detail, and visited several other representative room types. Didn’t get the breakfast because there are at least 3 or so coffee shops in the mall in the same complex, including Starbucks.

The outside of the hotel is grand and comfortable. The room is very spacious and the facilities are new. It is comfortable to stay. The only drawback is that the breakfast variety is a little lacking.
Another thing: I asked the front desk clerk (an older man) for two bottles of mineral water. He actually told me that it was stipulated by the hotel and generally not given.
Talk openly and secretly with the tenants about the rules. Would it be better for such staff to receive more training?

The room facilities are complete and the room is clean and tidy. The air conditioning is not good and it is too cold. However, the lobby manager sent a heater at night and turned it on to keep warm all night. The next day, I was given a free late check-out until 14:00. It is very user-friendly. The service in this store is very good. When you come in and out, the waiters will greet you and open the door to pick up your luggage, making you feel at home. Four of us elders came to Jintan to participate in the National Martyrs' Memorial Day. When we checked into the hotel, we felt that the hotel lobby was very grand and unique, and the decoration was quite warm. We stayed in Room 717.719 on the 7th floor.

GGuest UserI have been to Tianmu Lake in Liyang, Changzhou three times. I have eaten fish heads and soaked in hot springs, but this is my first time to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. This time, I brought my parents and children with me and booked Zhuxi Valley Hotel in advance on a blue software. I called the front desk for some questions and accidentally contacted the housekeeper Kong Ziyi, who was the biggest surprise of our trip. There was still a long time before the trip, and the housekeeper Miss Ziyi answered all my questions enthusiastically and patiently from the beginning. The trip to Nanshan Bamboo Sea arranged on the day of check-in was also booked through her. The VIP channel throughout the trip really made you feel at home. The service value exceeded the price itself. The driver picked us up and dropped us off at the door in a business car. The tour guide arranged the whole trip. The tour guide was also a beautiful lady named Sun. She accompanied us up and down the mountain throughout the trip. She explained everything in detail and didn't let us miss any links. On the way back, I asked to go down the mountain by myself to experience the beautiful scenery. The tour guide Miss Sun was also very patient to accompany us. She took the children to play in the Bird Paradise. The family and children were very happy. Because we were a little late on our way back and missed the hotel dinner time, the housekeeper introduced a very reliable restaurant near the hotel. It was delicious and not expensive. We tasted the boss's white tea, which was really delicious. In the afternoon, we went to experience the entertainment provided by the hotel and chose a Melody painted mold. The child was very happy. In the evening, we went to the Royal Water Hot Spring. We went in and out of the room many times. We contacted the housekeeper Miss Ziyi to arrange a car to pick us up. The speed was very fast and responsive. It was really comfortable to take a bath in the Royal Water Hot Spring. When we came back, we saw the bedding prepared for us in the room. The luggage was delivered early and the scented tea was delivered. I really think this housekeeper is so considerate and the service is so good. I was crazy about it again. After the hot spring, we caught up with the dinner provided in the set meal. It was all arranged by the housekeeper. We went to eat directly. There was a large table of dishes, and each one was delicious, especially the local black rice in Liyang, which was super soft and delicious. When we were ready to leave, we bought some more at the hotel for our family. Aunt Zhang in the restaurant also had both emotional intelligence and service. The children had a great time eating and received small gifts. They returned with a full load.
Recommended reason: The service is worth the price. The girls here are beautiful, kind and professional. The boys are handsome, patient and responsible.

MMatibengaThe service at the hotel was excellent, they were polite and very helpful. Any questions that you asked, they answered without hesitation. Overall the staff, were the best if I have to compare with other big and small hotels that I have been to. My friend and I booked the hotel together. The rooms were very very nice. We loved them. It was easy to travel around the resort, they have golf carts that can take you around the resort. So many activities to do there. You need to speak a little bit of Chinese though. But in case you don’t they will find someone to help you there.
The hotel package we took included the hot springs, spar and breakfast. It was worth it.
The springs are the best. There is also an infinity pool. The people there are very helpful, great service. It was easy to spot two foreigners but they treated us with so much kindness, especially the man and woman at the fish spring and the little cafe there names: 张浩川, 张刘纪 and 彭玉琴.
So Hentique hotels and resort is huge. The area and the activities you can do there are plenty. You can get on a helicopter(480rmb), boat(272rmb) it includes going to the islands and mountain hiking, horse riding and many more. You just have to come with a good budget. Breakfast is at the big hotel that has a great view of the lake.
Hentique pinecone has different restaurants around, the food is between 100 -300 per person. I suggest you bring snacks because there aren’t any shops close by. The big hotel has a shop where you can buy snacks for a price, and an all day restaurant. We ended up moving from hentique pinecone hotel to the big hotel but paid a little bit more and was worth every penny. The hotel really good, with a nice view, the manager on duty that day August 16th 2023 was the best manager, I forgot his name. His English was very very good. He answered all questions and helped us transfer from 松果 to the big hotel.
Having being in China for a long time, this was the best trip ever, with the best service. We will surely go back to this place.

We really liked that the hotel was not so crowed, and the owner could fulfill us every special requirement we had (explain sightseeing trips, provide ticket buying support, organize pick up service, order flowers, etc.). Compared with big hotels with thousands of people as a guest in this hotel you feel very valuable, they really try to take care of you so you can enjoy your stay.
The environment is very silent, when you wake up in the morning you can enjoy the silence, listen to the birds and enjoy the view at the lake.
Tho hotel is very close (only around 5km) to Nanshan Bamboo forest and also to the Yushui hotsprings, which makes it also very convenient.
We really appreciated the service in this hotel and would definitely come back in future.
We can recommend this hotel to 100%.

CCody SoodeenUpon arriving to the hotel, the front desk staff were very friendly. Although this is my first time in China and I was unsure of check-in procedure, they quickly got me through check-in and made me feel quite relaxed almost immediately.
During my stay, I ordered room service nearly every evening and although I speak no Chinese, the staff were very patient and helpful to make sure that they were receiving my order correctly.
The view from the rooms is incredible and the service at the hotel has been great. I highly recommend that if you are visiting Changzhou for business or pleasure that you stay at the Marriot Hotel in Xinbei district. It is also very centrally located with easy access to entertainment, shopping malls, restaurants and the light rail stations to travel to other cities in China. Additionally, the restaurants, pool, outdoor basketball court, coffee shop, and other services in the hotel make it a convenient place to stay if it is your first time in China or Changzhou as it is mine.
For work related reasons my trip in Changzhou was extended and I have enjoyed my stay at the Marriot hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay here and upgrade my room to include the executive lounge (totally worth it if you stay here, it's like having access to an Emirates level lounge with a view every day).
In summary, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are lovely, and the services provided make your stay very convenient! I highly recommend staying at the Changzhou Marriot in Xinbei District during your time here!

AAnonymous UserRecommend this hotel. Don't underestimate the old hotel, the service is first-class, much better than many new hotels.
Hygiene: After staying for a few nights, I will do a good job of hygiene every day, change new towels, supplement toilet paper and toothbrushes.
Environment: Sleep quietly at night, pillows have different softness options. It is about ten minutes walk from the subway station and not far from the large shopping mall.
Service: I originally booked a triple room, but in maintenance, we changed a very good large suite, and a double standard room, no extra charge. Four bottles of mineral water will be added every day, and the service is very good.

GGuest UserThe location of this hotel is very convenient, the transportation is very convenient, the city center is opposite the Yaohan. Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, I came out in the morning and found that the street at the door was full of famous specialty snacks in Changzhou. I heard that the hotel owner also opened it. The room I stayed in was spacious and bright. The window of the room could be opened for ventilation. The hygiene was good and the bedding was comfortable. I felt that the whole stay was very pleasant. Come back next time!
