We stayed here with 3 children in August and overall had an a great experience. The room was lovely and spacious, very clean and well equipped. We had an upper floor two bed suite which had some great views. There was some development going on adjacent to the hotel but work had stopped over the summer and it didn’t detract from our experience. The pool was great and a good size for the premises and kept very clean. Plenty of big comfortable sun loungers. It was a short walk to town that had lots of great restaurants down a hill. Free parking and though it would have been fine without a car it was a good base to explore further afield and I guess we might have got a bit bored without this option. Would recommend.

There are 2 hotels near each other run by the same family and share facilities. The Christina Hotel is on the main road and the Christina Beach hotel is down a lane on the side of the Christina Hotel. The Christina Beach hotel has its own entrance and reception accessed by a door facing the beach. You can walk into the Christina Hotel and through the ground to the Beach hotel. This review is for the Christina Beach Hotel. We stayed 7 nights in room 4020 on the top floor, (3rd floor) on the west side of the building. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. It had all the facilities you would need if you wanted to do simple cooking. Our balcony had a sea view and being on the west of the building it was in shade in the morning for our coffee and we saw fantastic sun sets in the evening. There were a few hours, in the late afternoon when it was in the full sun and to hot to sit out. The room had a safe and good quiet A/C. All the staff were very friendly. There was a swimming pool that could be used in the adjacent Christina hotel. It's location meant that we had a 10 metre walk to be on the beach. Fantastic. Free parking is available on a first come basis in a small car park. A great hotel and it will be our first choice when we return to Chania.
