Chaozhou Meixiangju Chinese Inn (Paifang Street Ancient City)

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Chaozhou Ancient City. The classic, antique-style environment has such a wonderful, resonant charm, making for a perfect 100/100 experience. The owner is incredibly enthusiastic, personally brewing Kung Fu tea that is rich, mellow, and absolutely delicious.

Meixiangju in Chaoshan is an excellent guesthouse with a convenient location, making it easy to get around. The rooms are spotless and the environment is comfortable, ensuring a relaxing and worry-free stay. The owners are incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to help with anything you need, making you feel right at home. If you're visiting Chaoshan, Meixiangju is definitely a highly recommended place to stay! 👍

We came here because it was a filming location for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala, and the guesthouse is right in the ancient city, just a 3-minute walk to Paifang Street, with tons of food options nearby! There are 6 suites, 8 rooms, and 10 beds in total. Our group of 18 people booked the entire courtyard, which was perfect. The spacious lobby and a courtyard adorned with red lanterns created an amazing festive atmosphere, full of New Year cheer. The room facilities are very new and well-equipped. After a tiring walk through the ancient city, we'd return to the guesthouse to drink tea, listen to music, and have a small drink in the courtyard. Teaware and tea leaves were all provided, creating a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable experience. The owner was warm and attentive, always ready to help. The experience was superb, truly satisfying!

I booked this very 'Chaozhou-style' guesthouse because of its zero negative reviews, and the actual place, pictures, and room size were exactly as advertised. The king-size room, including the leisure area by the door, is 16 square meters, offering comfortable space. The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet spot amidst the hustle and bustle, and its elegant courtyard is perfect for photos. The room is equipped with mosquito nets, a dehumidifier, and an air purifier; all amenities are complete and high-quality, ensuring a quiet and comfortable stay. The leisure area by the door is great for enjoying tea and Chaozhou delicacies, providing a truly relaxing vibe. The owner is warm and thoughtful, proactively offering travel tips and helping plan itineraries – truly hospitable and making you feel right at home. The value for money is outstanding, the experience was superb; definitely a must-book without any worries!

This guesthouse is right next to Paifang Street, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. The owner is incredibly warm and attentive. The room itself was safe, clean, and comfortable. If I get the chance to visit Chaozhou again, I'll definitely book here.

The B&B has a unique charm, with rustic decor. The owner personally designed the courtyard, and the floral arrangements are tastefully done. The rooms are fully equipped with Gree air conditioning, a dehumidifier, and a fresh air system. The bathroom provides high-quality disposable amenities, showing great attention to detail. The nights are wonderfully quiet, which is perfect for light sleepers. The owner is incredibly friendly; he invited us for tea and even walked us to where we could get a taxi. It's close to Kaiyuan Street and Xima Road, and you can easily walk to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge. The owner also gave us a small gift, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommend!
