Lirenju Inn (Chaozhou Ancient City Paifang Street Store)

Highly recommended! The location is fantastic, making it super convenient to visit attractions and find food. It's also quiet and not noisy, and the cleanliness is excellent. I had a very comfortable stay and will definitely choose this place again next time I visit!

This last-minute booking turned out to be surprisingly great! There are so many attractions nearby, like Paifang Street, Guangji Bridge, and West Lake. The room was clean, allowing us to sleep in and then just wander out. My favorite part was the floral arrangement on the balcony; it was so relaxing to just sit there and zone out. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, and the whole atmosphere felt cozy. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience.

The inn is located right in the ancient town, and the landlady even gave us a souvenir. Everything else was fine, but those plastic slippers were incredibly smelly, and just leaving them in the bathroom polluted the entire air.

Spent Chinese New Year in Chaozhou with my colleagues, and this guesthouse's location is fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge, super convenient. The owner was also great; they helped me arrange a car charter in advance to take us to Puning on New Year's Eve. The driver was a friend of the owner, also very nice, and the price was 100 RMB cheaper than what we'd find elsewhere. We bought the 'Chaozhou Three Treasures' from the owner, and the price was fair. More importantly, we felt confident we weren't getting fake or inferior products. Next time I'm in Chaozhou, I'll definitely stay here again. (My colleagues all agreed that from now on, when we visit the Chaoshan region, we'll just head straight to Chaozhou and skip Shantou – it's not as interesting.)

The room isn't very big, and the bathroom is quite small, especially around the sink area. It's located within the old city, so there might be traffic restrictions or difficulty with navigation. However, it's very close to Zhuyu Gate, where you can easily catch a taxi.

The location is fantastic! It's super convenient to walk to all the attractions like Guangji Bridge and Paifang Street. The room was clean, and the garden terrace on the third floor was a unique touch. You can step right out to catch the light show in the evening and then head over to Guangji Bridge for a visit in the morning.

The room facilities are really old, feeling like they haven't been updated in at least a decade. Some of the hangers were even broken. The hotel's location is on the edge of the old city. I initially thought it would be convenient for getting a taxi since it's near the main road, but during the National Day holiday, the road was closed. I couldn't get a taxi at all and had to walk about two kilometers to the other side to find one. With the hot weather, it was incredibly inconvenient.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location is excellent! It was super convenient to get everywhere. Highly recommend! I'll definitely be back next time.
