From the moment we arrived at this property, it was a mess. I stay with Marriott always, and this property isn’t up to Marriott standard. You check in to the hotel at the bar, which is fine but the bartender checking us in couldn’t care less about her job. We get in the room and it’s smaller than a studio apartment in NYC. No table/office space, tiny bed, no closet. The parking lot isn’t owned by the hotel, they don’t have designated parking. You pay the same for self parking and valet, so after having dinner we went back to the hotel and there was no parking. The valet points to a lot a mile away and says go park there…..isn’t the point of valet to NOT PARK YOUR OWN CAR? Upon checkout 2 days later we go back to the bar and the same bartender/front desk person is there. She doesn’t make eye contact, doesn’t even look up. Asks what room we were in, then said okay you are checked out…again never even looked up. I asked for the bill so I could make sure the charges are correct….she says “we don’t do that” I said you don’t provide a bill of service to your customers? I called Marriott to ask for the bill and they said “no problem, we will email it to you did they not offer that on property?” I said nothing was offered to us on property but a tiny expensive room and bad attitudes from the whole staff. Long story short: stay at one of the other many properties in Chattanooga, this hotel isn’t worth it.
