Reviews of Athena Inn Chattanooga

The room was clean at first glance, but there was lots of grime and buildup, mostly in the AC unit, which is bad bc you have to breathe that stuff if it's on and this is the South. it's hot, even in Sept. Checkout @10- @9:45 housekeeping was LOUDLY hanging around door. @exactly 10, knocked, very rude when told we were carrying our things down. we had it all out by 10:10. BUT they charged my card $100 saying the room was trashed... it only took 20 min to clean- l sat in my car and watched. i even took the extra step of bagging up all my little trash!
