⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein Ort mit Herz – echtes Vietnam abseits des Massentourismus Wir haben ein paar Tage im Quoc Phong Riverside Homestay verbracht und können klar sagen: Volltreffer. Das Homestay liegt rund 1,5 Stunden von Saigon entfernt und ist gut erreichbar – per Inlandsflug nach Saigon und dann weiter mit Grab, Taxi oder Bus. Schon die Anreise fühlt sich nach Entschleunigung an. Hier arbeitet die ganze Familie zusammen – von der Oma bis zum Vater – und genau das spürt man. Alles wird mit viel Herz, Aufmerksamkeit und echter Gastfreundschaft gemacht. Es ist kein Hotel, sondern ein typisch vietnamesisches Homestay, so wie man es sich wünscht: persönlich, warm, ehrlich. Die Anlage ist klein und ruhig, maximal etwa zehn Bungalows. Fahrräder stehen kostenfrei zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich werden wunderschöne, individuelle Bootstouren auf dem Mekong angeboten – zwei oder fünf Stunden, ganz nach Wunsch. Wir haben uns auch ein Motorbike gemietet (ca. 6,50 € pro Tag), völlig unkompliziert. Frühstück, Zimmer, Sauberkeit, Ruhe – alles passt. Man bekommt alles, was man braucht, um wirklich abzuschalten. Wer möchte, ist schnell in der nächsten Stadt, aber der eigentliche Grund, hier zu sein, ist das Mekong-Delta selbst: Natur, Gelassenheit, Zeit. Für alle, die vietnamesische Familienkultur erleben wollen, Entspannung suchen und keine Lust auf Massentourismus haben, ist dieser Ort absolut zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A place with heart – real Vietnam away from mass tourism We spent a few very relaxing days at Quoc Phong Riverside Homestay, and it was an absolute highlight. The homestay is about 1.5 hours from Saigon and easy to reach by Grab, taxi or bus after arriving in the city. From the moment you arrive, everything slows down – in the best possible way. This is a true family-run homestay. Everyone helps out, from the grandmother to the father, and you can feel the warmth and care in every detail. It’s not a hotel – it’s authentic, personal and very welcoming. The property is small and quiet, with around ten bungalows at most. Bicycles are available free of charge. They also offer beautiful, tailor-made boat trips on the Mekong River, lasting two or five hours depending on what you prefer. We also rented a motorbike (about 6.50 € per day), which was easy and convenient. Rooms are clean, breakfast is fresh, and the atmosphere is calm and peaceful. You have everything you need to truly relax. If you want, the next town is nearby – but the real reason to stay here is the Mekong Delta itself. Perfect for travelers who want to experience real Vietnamese family life, slow down, and avoid mass tourism. We felt welcome from the first minute and would absolutely come back.
