When we checked in our first set of keys did not work. This is understandable, but frustrating when it was 10° outside and this is a motel so your room door is exposed to the elements. Once we got inside, we realized they don’t keep the heat on, The room was ice cold. I turned to go move our vehicle and noticed I could see snow coming through under the door. I decided to go to the front desk to complain, and couldn’t get out of our room because the door latch was malfunctioning. This may be a nice place to stay in the summer because of its location, but for 200 a night, things like this are completely unacceptable.Try the Fleetwood

Everything was nice. Would have liked an elevator and an inside entry to our room. It was a cold day with snow blowing, so an inside entry was preferable.

The room was clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The free breakfast was excellent, with both hot and cold choices available.
Daily room freshening was disappointing. They did not even make up the beds. Towels were thin. The hot tub was broken the two days we were there.

The room was very clean and my request for a first floor was accommodated. How ever the screen door was totally ripped and I asked to have it rescreened to allow us to get fresh air into the room off the river. I spoke to the person who registered us but he nothing was done. The price of the room was tripled for a holiday weekend. I expected the room to be well maintained.

The room seemed like it had been updated recently. However, it was small and the location was somewhat in the middle of nowhere. It also smelled musty and mildewy. We would not visit again.

Front desk staff was consistently kind, professional, and accommodating. We asked to switch rooms to better view the beautiful river and they made it happen quickly, no hassle. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and as expected. The property was quiet and well maintained. River view was quite nice! Had coffee and watched boats roll by in the morning, ducks walking the grounds.
