Best Western Atlantic Hotel

Staff tried to be helpful, but can only do as much as they have resources for. Someone checked the room, after I checked in, to ensure I had an iron. Didn’t find one so left me an iron. I had 2 irons !!! TV didn’t work properly. Tried 2 different remotes, couldn’t control volume or turn off. I ended up unplugging behind TV. Needed to stay an extra night but fully booked for Tuesday night. I don’t understand why. Big spiders in room. Never again

Don’t stay here , this hotel has been the home for illegals , these hotels need to be named and shamed ,there’s plenty of other places in Chelmsford to stay,thank you

ot this hotel but, one owned by the same people, allowed a house key to be stolen by a burglar who let himself into our room to steal valuables of nearly £7,000 whilst all of the staff and guests were in the bar/function room area.. Neither the hotel owners, who have not been in contact once, nor Best Western have taken any responsibility for this, with the hotel’s insurers, NFU Mutual, saying that we have to prove that the hotel was negligent. Beyond belief.

Hotel is full of illegal immigrants. Avoid for your own safety. Why is this being allowed to happen and endangering our own people?

Now housing unknown illegal migrants for profit. This will endanger the local community. This hotel has breached customers trust by dishonestly claiming it has closed for refurbishment.

We stayed at this hotel and have been accused of stealing soiled second hand bed linen, thieves look like they operate here and steal before or after you have left the room, the hotel management have plunderd my wifes bank account of £100, It seems the hotel are the thieves, BEWARE of this hotel. Mr Santa-Rita the hotel manager refuses to converse on the subject and has very little knowledge of the English language which may be the answer for his lack of reasoning and judgement of character, the managing director seems to be out of the same mould. So be carefull when you pay by card as this gives them a licence to take an unauthorised debit as you signed a disclaimer when getting your key. I advise that you get an inventory list of what is precisely in the room. DINNING AREA:: Breakfast was not very warm, food left sitting out for ages, staff unhelpfull, children running round unsupervised, parents did'nt care. RECEPTION;; staff untrained,uncaring, ignorant. VALUE;; overcharged £100 for something we did not have. SLEEP QUALITY;; Large parties held here we were awake most of the night. Decor is modern;;
