Chengdu Yuxuan Pavilion Boutique Apartment (Tianfu Square Store)

Dirty, dusty floors and kitchen surface, mouldy dank bathroom, not modern, looks nothing like the photos. It was advertised as 'light luxury' in English. This is very misleading. It is a budget room. Which is OK. if advertised as such Bathroom on ad was not the same as bathroom in room. Actual bathroom had broken tiles and a lot of soap scum and grime around the base. Its not a proper kitchen, with no cutlery or mugs provided. Glassware provided was not washed / sticky.when I cleaned some spilled water from the kitchen surface the tissue came up black. That is disgusting. :( Check in was difficult and took 30 mins from arrival - I messaged them before for check in directions and arrived at correct place. They asked me to send a photo which is expensive over e-sim as a foreigner. Not cleaned properly, dirty, budget, misleading room, photos do not match, not as described, dissapointing. I can deal with basic fittings but not dirt. - would advise to avoid this one.

Solo traveller, the apartment is very hard to find, not clearly labelled, but once in service block head to 12th floor. My room that I had booked was not ready when I checked in, at checking in time. A different room was available, which I took as I had tours that I was due to go on. the room was not totally clean, the fridge was humming on and off, the Aircon didn't work, so I left the windows open for the whole time, so now I'm bitten by mosquitos. I went to the bathroom on the second night and the toilet had leaked, meaning I then had to clear up the mess and shower. there were chips in the wall, sink, and the sides weren't clean. I mentioned this to the receptionist when leaving, and they said I should have addressed whilst there, which I agree with, but when your only in a city for two nights, you expect what you pay for. They confirmed that the rooms are rented out and there is wear and tear and they can't monitor every room. the hotel isn't that well labelled for an English tourist, no mention of the company's name that I could find anywhere.

The room was clean and spacious and room service was good, but the TV was broken.

Great location. Very well served by public transport, and within walking distance of several attractions. Easily and quickly accessible from the train station. Very warm welcome from the management team. The apartments are quite true to the photos. The only slight difference is that the kitchen isn't meant for cooking, so there's no crockery provided. However, it is equipped with an electric kettle, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Apartment 2021 on the 20th floor, where I extended my stay. Magnificent view. Spacious apartment. Very quiet. Very comfortable bedding. Living area. Very pleasant when you need to spend time in the apartment. Large projection screen. Washing machine with detergent provided - so useful. Large bathroom. Very clean. Very friendly cleaning service. They can clean the room daily and provide two bottles of water every day. The Wi-Fi had some ups and downs, but improved as the stay progressed. In short, an address I would gladly return to for its value for money.

The property is close to Luomashi Metro station. Around the area has 7-11, Lawson and in the evening the food hawker also available. The bed is not too soft not too hard just good for a night sleep. Will book again if return to Chengdu.

We had a hard time finding the hotel, because our navigator lead us to the next door entrance of the business center. So we spent around half an hour trying to find our way, it turned out to be much easier and literally "right there", but only after we contacted the property for help 😅 The apartment was nice and quite clean, we needed some extra towels and slippers, and we were given that at once. The stuff lady was extremely nice and friendly, she wasn't speaking English well and we talked via messages. But that didn't create any issues, because she was truly welcoming and helpful. The process of checking out was also simple, we just needed to leave the key at take a photo of it. That saved a lot of time 😄 At night there's a street food lane right in front of the hotel, along the road. Plenty of options to snack on. Overall impression is great, and I definitely recommend the hotel for staying
