The hotels location is good and the bed is comfy however, that’s about all this hotel has going for it. First of all, the hotel room looks NOTHING like the pictures.l on the website…I honestly think they used AI. The hotel room was full of mould on the ceiling and even had some sort of flower/mould spore growing from the ceiling (see photos attached). The walls are also extremely thin to the point where we could hear our neighbours just have a normal conversation. There was also a lot of building work going on above us.
Our room was located at the end of the corridor where a bin cart was constantly left outside our door and the smell of rubbish was disgusting. The room itself had no window so it was quite hot. We turned on the AC unit which was covered in dust and, as it was located right above the bed, dust was falling down onto the bed/pillows so we had to stop using it. The smell from the drains in the bathroom was unbearable, there was a really strong sewerage smell. There were 2 USB ports in the wall beside the bed and neither of them worked unfortunately.
My partner and I have stayed in many hostels/hotels in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea and unfortunately this was by far the worst in terms of cleanliness and sanitation.
The only other thing this hotel has going for it is the 1 washing machine and 1 dryer that are available free of charge. The reception itself is modern and we got a peak into some of the other rooms which, at a quick glance, appeared to be slightly nicer than ours so maybe we just got a bad room! Either way I would probably look for other hotels in the area.
