Sofis National Hotel

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel is centrally located, making transportation very convenient, and parking is free. There are also tons of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!

This is an older luxury hotel with exceptional service. They gave us all sorts of little complimentary gifts and even upgraded our room for free, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The bathtub filled up really fast too. The only minor drawback was that the AC wasn't super powerful. However, that's a small issue and didn't detract from the overall experience. Breakfast might have been a bit late, as some items weren't replenished promptly.

The service was excellent. We booked a standard room and brought two children, and not only did they provide extra quilts and toiletries for us, but they also gave the kids yogurt. It's great value for money too. There's a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, and parking is free for guests.

There's a huge variety of snacks at great prices, and the atmosphere is really vibrant. It was so convenient for exploring and eating, making for a comfortable and stress-free stay. When I visited Chengdu, I heard there were many night markets near Fuqin, so I chose this hotel close to the subway station online. To be honest, the hotel's decor is a bit old-fashioned, but the room itself was clean and tidy. The bathroom had no strange odors and was spacious; even for a chubby person like me, the shower stall was quite roomy. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and even gave me two boxes of yogurt upon check-in.

After all, it's a four-star hotel, so the service was great. However, it's an older hotel, around ten years old, so some of the facilities are showing their age. The cleanliness was acceptable. I especially want to praise the location – it's directly across from Yongling Museum and a small park, and only about a kilometer from Kuanzhai Alley. The surrounding area has excellent amenities; it's very convenient for dining, foot massages, and even a traditional Chinese medicine clinic. Not far away, there's also a local market, full of vibrant atmosphere. I really enjoyed the peacefulness here.

I absolutely have to rave about the Sofis Hotel Chengdu! The environment is absolutely fantastic; it's super close to Kuanzhai Alley, with a lively local atmosphere that's surprisingly quiet. The room was bright and airy, with no strange odors whatsoever. The service was incredibly thoughtful too; the front desk staff were so gentle and patient, answering all my questions and even proactively recommending tourist routes. The facilities are top-notch: the AC heats up quickly, the Wi-Fi is stable, and the shower water pressure is strong and hot. Even the toiletries were excellent. Overall, my experience was incredible – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chengdu. It's truly great value for money!

The room has a lot of character, with a European style. I particularly want to praise the front desk staff – their service was excellent and very thoughtful. When I asked about the laundry room, they saw I was traveling and offered to wash and dry my clothes for free, then delivered them back to my room. They even gave complimentary coffee upon check-in, which was a nice touch. If you're coming to Chengdu and want to experience local life, I highly recommend this place.
