Our entire stay was incredibly satisfying. It's truly an oasis of tranquility amidst the bustling city. The architecture is charmingly old-fashioned, with beautifully carved beams and painted pillars. The garden in the courtyard is meticulously designed. Waking up in the morning and sitting on the wooden chair by the door, enjoying the flowers and birdsong, was delightful. The fresh air, slow pace, and the rustic charm of the blue bricks and grey tiles made me feel as if I had traveled back to the Republic of China era. The breakfast spread was absolutely abundant and varied! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Chengdu!

This intangible cultural heritage-themed hotel, hidden within Wenshu Monastery, is formed by 16 traditional Western Sichuan courtyards. The environment is serene and antique, and Wenshu Monastery is right outside. The rooms incorporate intangible cultural heritage elements like Shu brocade and bamboo weaving, making for a comfortable and stylish stay. The butler service is meticulous and warm-hearted, and the breakfast is authentic. To experience such a peaceful Chengdu slow life in the city center is truly unique. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

This courtyard hotel, tucked away in Wenshu Monastery, is absolutely charming! The ancient, elegant courtyard ambiance is just perfect, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated, the service is attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast even features some delicious Sichuan specialties. It's incredibly convenient for getting around and exploring the local food scene. Staying here in Chengdu was a fantastic experience – highly recommend! ✨

Stayed for two nights and it was absolutely fantastic! The king-size bed in the family room was big enough, and the smaller beds were also sufficient for our 7 and 11-year-old children. Parking was convenient, and we could easily walk to Wenshu Monastery from the back entrance. There were so many people taking photos at the red wall!

The hotel is located in Wenshufang, very close to Wenshu Monastery by foot. However, parking is underground, and it's a bit inconvenient that there's no luggage cart to unload bags at the hotel entrance. We stayed in a private courtyard with two rooms, traveling with elderly and children. Having our own courtyard to experience the Chengdu rocking chair life was quite nice. The entire complex is essentially a commercial street. You can grab a bowl of Gaiwan tea, some Tangyou Guozi, or get an ear pick by the roadside – a great way to experience the laid-back Chengdu life. The children's rocking chair in the small courtyard is super cute. Because the courtyard is a general heritage building, the facilities are a bit old. BTW: Breakfast was just average.
