Chengdu Heritage Hotel (Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road)

This time, I stayed in a quaint hotel, a beautifully restored Qing Dynasty three-courtyard residence with a strong sense of history. Its location is excellent too, within walking distance to Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The hotel even gave us a free room upgrade to a room in the main courtyard. Stepping out of the room, you're greeted by a lovely courtyard with a century-old pomelo tree. Enjoying tea in the courtyard truly captures the relaxed Chengdu lifestyle. The staff were warm and friendly, and they even gifted our child a panda doll and snacks. The hotel's homemade jasmine tea was also delicious and enjoyed by everyone. Highly recommended!

The courtyard is deep and every step reveals a new scenic view, making it perfect for photos, especially the hotel's photography spots, which are absolutely stunning. The bedding in the room is very comfortable and the facilities are complete. If I had to nitpick, it would be the poor soundproofing. Two hotel photo shoots: definitely not enough to choose from.

Five-star review! The butler service was incredibly thoughtful. After I checked in, they gave me a detailed and professional tour of the entire three-courtyard ancient complex, explaining its hundred-year history and architectural details. The room was elegantly comfortable with full smart home features, and the bedding was super soft. The private hot spring and tea room facilities were excellent and very clean. It's a peaceful courtyard in the bustling city, conveniently located, and the service was responsive throughout my stay. A perfect experience, highly recommended!

The room was clean and tidy, with an antique and charming decor. The noodles and 'chaoshou' (Sichuan-style wontons) for breakfast were both excellent. We originally booked a suite for our family of three, but because my husband's snoring was affecting our son's sleep, the hotel kindly upgraded us to two separate rooms free of charge. The service was exceptional, and the hotel's environment is also very photogenic!

The hotel itself is full of ancient charm, with architecture and decor that blend the elegant allure of old Chengdu. Every step offers a new scenic view, perfect for photos. The location is also excellent, making it super convenient for sightseeing and trying local food. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive, with a gentle and thoughtful attitude. Overall, it's incredible value for money, suitable for both leisure travel and short stays. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Chengdu!
