CHENS Hotel (Kuanzhai Alley People's Park Subway Station)

Excellent Service and a Truly Helpful Staff at Chens Hotel Our 5-day family stay at Chens Hotel near Kuanzhai Alley and People's Park Subway Station was wonderful, largely thanks to the exceptional and caring staff. From the beginning, they were incredibly accommodating. We had a late arrival as our flight landed at 9 PM, and we didn't reach the hotel until after 11 PM. The staff promptly reassured us and approved our late check-in request. Upon arrival, they were warm and thorough in their explanation of the check-in process. Knowing we didn't have a local SIM card, they even sent the Wi-Fi password directly to our WeChat—a simple but crucial gesture that helped us get connected immediately. The most memorable example of their service was when we needed help purchasing tickets for the Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum. The official booking platform required a local Chinese phone number for verification. When I asked the staff on WeChat if they could assist, they unreservedly provided a local number for us to use. While we ultimately couldn't complete the purchase due to other verification steps, their willingness to go out of their way to help was deeply touching and went far beyond standard hotel service. Throughout our stay, the team consistently checked in on us, both during our morning breakfast and via WeChat messages, ensuring we had everything we needed and offering updates. Once again, thank you to the entire team at Chens Hotel for your pleasant and supportive service, which made our family trip to Chengdu comfortable and stress-free. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city

Very good hotel, super nice and comfortable rooms that feel incredibly cozy. Hotel is small and situated in ideal location with easy access to metro and major city places. It's on quiet road that has everything you need, shops, restaurants and ckffee shops. Hotel staff is super helpful and can arrange things for you if asked. They also helps with the laundry so you don't have to bother about self service. I will definitely pick the same hotel if ever coming back to Chengdu!

Friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, hot water pressure good and nice amenities. The TV was a very large roll down screen and overhead projector system. Breakfast was definitely geared toward the local market and quite repetitive but good quality. The 2 free Americano coffees and evening sweets were a nice touch. The neighbourhood felt safe and comfortable with lots of eating options nearby and a 5 minute walk to People's Park Metro. I'd feel confident in recommending this hotel to most people I know and would happily stay there again.
