The location is fantastic! People's Park, Chengdu Museum, and Kuanzhai Alley are all within walking distance, and it's very close to the subway station. It's a charming standalone building with a small courtyard, and the ground floor is a coffee shop with a great vibe. The room layout is well-designed, and the bedding is clean and comfortable, especially the pillows – my daughter even wanted to buy one to take home! 😄 The front desk service was excellent. Due to our flight schedule, they helped coordinate with the luggage delivery service to the airport and even came to our room to explain everything clearly. Although we ultimately decided to take our luggage ourselves, their willingness to genuinely help solve the problem was truly appreciated. 👍
The only minor downside was the loud air conditioning. Since our international flight arrived late at night on the first day, we just dealt with it. Later, as it wasn't too cold, we simply turned off the AC while sleeping, and the surroundings were very quiet, so we slept soundly. The breakfast selection was limited, but the quality was decent, and the noodles were made to order. Given the abundance of dining options nearby, this wasn't a big issue. I noticed other reviews mentioned welcome fruit and tremella soup, which we might have missed due to our late arrival.
If I ever have another layover in Chengdu, I would definitely choose this hotel again.
