Elegant Azure Hotel

The location is convenient, the hotel lobby is spacious, and the quality of the hotel amenities is high. Very good. It's close to Chengdu East Railway Station, which is convenient for transport, but the downside is that the train noise is quite loud. I'm used to it for business trips, so it doesn't bother me, but it might be an issue for those sensitive to noise.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. They even upgraded me to a quiet room for free, which was fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again next time. I forgot to take photos, so I'm uploading three scenic pictures instead. One of them is of a twisting tree near the hotel.

It was so dirty. This is the first time I've stayed in such a filthy hotel. In the first room, the trash can was crooked, and the disposable toiletries box wasn't where it should be; it was wide open with items missing. I seriously doubt if cleaning was even done. Later, they moved me to another room, but there was a large stain on the wall, and the room wasn't big. A very bad experience overall.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its proximity to Chengdu East Railway Station, making it highly recommended if you're catching an early train or arriving late at night. The rooms aren't huge, but they have all the necessary amenities, like a refrigerator and a smart toilet. The breakfast is extensive, especially the wide variety of desserts. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money.

The hotel is very close to East Station, though some might find it a bit tricky to locate. To get there from the East Square of East Station, cross the zebra crossing, and you'll see the Dragon Dream Hotel. Keep walking straight, then turn left to reach the Dragon Dream Apartment Hotel, and this hotel is right across from it. Make sure not to go to the next intersection, or you'll have a long walk to find another zebra crossing. Overall, the hotel is decent. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, and the king-size rooms are mostly street-facing, so if you're a light sleeper, you might want to avoid them due to noise. The breakfast selection is quite good, with daily staples like congee, milk, vegetables, and fruit available. Not bad at all. Overall, it's a good choice. It's also very convenient for getting to tourist attractions.

This is a relatively old hotel, and considering its age, the room's cleanliness is quite good. The room size is also decent. The only downside is that disposable toilet seat covers are not provided. The bathroom glass is very transparent, so you can see people showering from the room, which needs improvement! The breakfast variety is okay, but the taste is just average. The hotel's location is pretty good, especially if you're heading to Chengdu East Station for a train, as it's a convenient 5-minute walk. On the service side, there's definitely room for improvement. I stayed for two nights and didn't hear a single greeting from the hotel staff. When entering or leaving the hotel, the staff seemed to completely ignore guests, haha 😁, but they did notice a cat at the entrance and enthusiastically fed it. Maybe the cat pays more than us... Also, the bellboy was quite unresponsive when I tried to store my luggage in the morning. He probably just went through a breakup, as it took three times of asking before he finally said, 'Bring your luggage over!' Well, I guess the boss hired him to be a co-boss. Anyway, near East Station, perhaps they don't care much about service, as there are probably a lot of one-time guests!
