I liked the location of the hotel. It was very close to different commercial places that were open even until late in the evening. The room was good and clean. Checking in and out we’re a breeze, thanks to the efficient and friendly staff.

Awesome check-in experience took a total of 5 mins max, with instructions for the stay shared via Wechat. Extreme cleanliness, automated bidet and heated toilet bowl like those you see in Japan, and the automated blackout curtains and sheer curtains were a great touch. I particularly appreciated the free first found of the minibar which I used, and my package included some high tea and supper, which I chose not to use because I wanted to eat in the city. Beautiful design, great stay, fuss-free check in and check out. What'@ not to like? Special mention to Nancy Shine Coco.

A hotel with excellent value for money - superb location, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms, great service We (a couple from Germany and Hong Kong) visit Chengdu frequently for business & leisure as it is one of our favourite cities in China. We have always stayed at Rhombus - our favourite hotel in Chengdu! Its location is superb - right opposite to the bustling Taikoo Li (directly connected to a metro station). The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and style, with spacious, comfortable and clean rooms equipped with modern amenities, fast wi-fi and thoughtful touches. The staff, under the leadership! of the manager, Mia, are warm and attentive, always ready to make us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet is delicious and varied, with fresh and local ingredients. Overall, Rhombus in Chengdu offers great value for money & exceeds our expectations. We highly recommend it and we will definitely come back again & again!

Chengdu's old five-star hotel is famous far and wide. Finally came to experience it. The exterior should have been renovated and it still looks good. However, the room is indeed very retro, the facilities and equipment are very old, the TV is relatively small, and the picture is poor. The service is quite good and the staff are quite enthusiastic. The decoration of the elevator lobby is still good, but the height of the corridor is relatively low, and the view from the room is still good. The breakfast is still rich, but the features are not very outstanding.

The location of the hotel is great, very close to metro station, other hotels, a few nice little bars across the river, etc. The hotel is old, but that's part of it's charm I think. It has a nice pool, a decent little gym and pretty nice views from the rooms. The TV is old and small, but if you're not going to spend a lot of time in your room, then who cares right. Overall, a good hotel, the staff was friendly and pretty helpful. I would recommend it to others, especially a couple.
