This time I came to Chengdu to see the giant pandas. The hotel I stayed in was Chengdu Wangjiang Hotel, a historic state guesthouse. As I was not satisfied with the room allocated for the first time, Miss Zhao Jing at the front desk of the hotel was very enthusiastic to help us exchange rooms, let us feel the enthusiasm of Chengdu girls and the warm service of the hotel, and also comment on the hotel, the environment is elegant, breakfast Rich, very special, and very considerate to prepare gifts for the children. Very much a “Chinese luxury” hotel, in that it looks nice but is actually very meh. AC barely worked despite it being in the high 20s C. Room service menu times were wrong, so twice I was denied my order despite the menu showing that room service was available. Bed was ok. Bath tub was nice and big, I’ll give them that. Maid service was hit-or-miss, as I didn’t want them to come before noon while I was still in my room, so I had the DND light on, but when I left at 12:30pm and came back at 2am they had not replaced my wet towels as they had the day before with the same scenario.

I completely live up to the 4.6 rating. It is the worst home-like place among the places I have traveled to (Lijiang, Lhasa, Xigaze, Kunming, Chengdu). I don't feel at home at all. First, the parking lot is inconvenient and far from the hotel, and there is no hot water to wash up the next morning. Third, it is unfortunate that there is a power outage in the area, the room is out of power, and the elevator is out of service. Fourth, the room environment is not as good as before. Together, it really smashed Home Inn’s signature, completely disappointing the good impression of Home Inn.

I took my son and dog to start a self-driving trip during the summer vacation. The most difficult part of taking the dog out of the house is accommodation. I have lived in the best hotel so far, the details are so good. There are slippers for bathing and disposable cotton mops. A great homestay experience! The room is clean and hygienic. I was amazed as soon as I entered the door. The layout is very cozy and feels like a home. Disposable toiletries and branded hand sanitizer and shower gel are very distracting at first glance. Towels and bath towels are all disposable, and I personally feel that it is much more hygienic! There are also anti-collision *****s and transparent stickers for meeting carefully at the corner of the room.
